Official, legendary marks cap at 200 but it gets worst
So your marks will be capped at 200 (you can earn and spend more) and...
All your characters are all sharing them! So if you had 400 marks total (vanguard and crucible) they will only turn into commendations that you can turn in to rank up factions or vanguard/crucible.
You can also hold 200 in the vault.
So if you had 400 on each character your 1200 marks will simply become 1200 commendation marks.
You can earn more marks as you spend them but when the dlc kicks in your precious 1200 marks become mostly reputation.

I like the change. No more grinding crucible for faction gear (since most of the markers were faction requests that never made sense).

But it means you can hand them in for immediate faction drops. Ok it's RNG but your guranteed new legendary gear a couple seconds after the taken king lands

Actually you can only get a max of 24 commendations as they are consolidated into quantities of 50

Reputation comedations are great. Happy to boost my main character even further for that nowhere shader I need to finish my collection.

The marks will be broken down by 50. For every 50 marks you have (vanguard or crucible) you will get one commendation. That means you'll be able to get a maximum of 24 commendations.

10 RespuestasOh noes! When TTK drops spend some marks on something you want, then go do activities, you'll get more marks! Spend those. Then go do more activities and get more marks, spend them too! And so on and so on and so on... There is no weekly cap on how many marks you can acquire, save them until you get enough to buy that gun/armor/upgrade you want and then go collect some more. People bitched that the marks were capped at 100 a week, Bungie removes that cap and people bitch anyway.

I just re read weekly update, was fine with the stream but my eye caught something in weekly, or it didn't is more acurate, it states legendary marks can be earned via daily story chapters, weekly heroic and pvp 'activities', I'm a bit concerned as I'm not a pvp player, we all know pvp has been rammed down pve types throats by Bungie and most every developer in existence, I hope it's just a mistake, them Not mentioning strikes in weekly update, I have a bad feeling about it, hope it's nothing. Although it would kinda be fun seeing how community would react, if pvp was only way to get a realistic amount of marks etc, more importantly though I want to know why my iPad always capatilises the letter I, unless I pick it from list atop keyboard like this i :)

1 Respuestathey said that the rate of conversion will be 50 old marks = 1 new commendation. so you can max get 24 commendations. the question is how much they increase rep. if its substantial then we can get quite a few packages out of them and therefore legendaries and marks if we dismantle them.
