The Crucible is one of the WORST and unskilled pvp games out there.
I'm gonna keep this simple and to point:
*Unbalanced weapons, ie some more powerful than others
*Unbalanced exotics, ie some more powerful than others
*Unbalanced perks for armor and weapons
*Multiplayer-only
*No custom/private matches
*Forced to play specific gametypes each week
*Skill/performance gap between light levels
*A huge amount of unskilled players and their crutches
*Gear>Skill
Iron Banner:
*Gear>>Skill
*Lag fest
*Cheaters too
Trials:
*Gear>_Skill
*Lag fest
*Cheater fest
*Not fun after a while; really competitive
Overall, Destiny is perhaps Bungie's worst pvp game. To play it would be forcing pleasure unto yourself.
Coming from a player with a 2.41 KDR.

I dont agree but.. Rocket League is more competitive pvp.

Totally agree. PVP in this game has been a raging disappointment. Still can't believe [i]Bungie[/i] put this out. Going back and playing Halo: MCC, it's almost painful to see the contrast. And no, it's not fun. At all.

Iron banner: gear and below average skill> decent gear and skill >>> horrible gear and skill.

Agree 100%. I stopped playing crucible in march cause it was too shitty and annoying. I usually play planetside or battlefield if I want to play fps multiplayer. I have way more fun in those pvps. Once they fix crucible I think it will be just as fun. It needs more players per match though.

Um gear in iron banner is not better then skill at all I wrecked as a 31 in my first iron banner with lvl 277 weapons

Oh and also, gear isn't always greater than skill. I'm pretty good with the searcher mk 37. As in, 19-1, 18-1, 8-0 in a row. As a level 15. Of course, it was a sunsinger.

It's just not meant to be balanced. Skill helps a lot, but other things help a lot too. I like the customization but I also hate it.

Eh, have something like a .98 K/D since Ive come back, used to be 1.6 or something. The "meta" is completely different, my prefered play style is lower on the totem pole. It'll all change again, then again, then again some more.

Doing well in a horribly broken, unbalanced PVP arena with different powers, guns, and health stats is the ultimate test of skill...git gud.

Weapons in Halo are imbalanced but it's still a great multiplayer game. Balance is so overrated.

I agree the matchmaking is bad. I have an OK KD on control: 0.9 I'm usually at the top of the leader board but still lose because thanks to stupid teammates or an overpowered enemy. I win 1 in 5 games
