With all the news for the TTK I am starting to get excited for this game again. In my personal opinion many year one issues are being addressed. Story, rng, economy, these are all issues we lobbied for changes back in the very beginning. There are some items I feel like need more attention in year two. More social structure related items. So my first aim is at Clans. Clans seriously need some attention. We need an in game clan system. This is more of a rough draft brain storm post so any input is encouraged. [b]Clan in-game support[/b] The "start" menu is a logical place to house this system. A clan tab inside of the start menu. This is where generic action like browsing roster(see who's online),update/view a MOTD, invite, etc. Some none generic items. A voice chat launcher that allows you to pick and choose who you want to invite into Tue voice chat. A "calander" like schedualing for events and players can "signup". A weekly progression tracker so the clan can view what players need to complete. 60% of the clan has completed X, kinda like that. Notificans to the players based on upcoming events, motd, etc. More ideas welcome [b]Clans like faction[/b] Turning clans into mini factions could also help create clan engagement. Clans could have access to create class items and shaders that are then earned through clan reputation. Clans can make a few tiers of shaders and class items. Maybe a black Smith type system to put the new perk on the items with perks. Weekly clan perks can be applied also. Unlock glimmer boost or <insert ideas>. [b]Just a start[/b] This is just a start. I'm not the biggest clan supporter, I've had numerous issues with them. But I'd like to see a better system in place that may alleviate some of the lack of social in this game.
