There will be NO ascension in TTK
EDIT: at least Gear won't be useless because in TTK you level with EXP and not with Light Level,

But I think we both understand that this has to happen now. Me: *starts to cry as I start dismantling shadow price* Me: it is done. Me: *plants weapon parts next to parkour tree* rest in pieces shadow price... Rest silently.. *2 days later* Bungie: as a token of appreciation and dedication to playing destiny and to your old weapons (don't lie, we know you kept some >:)) ALL weapons may ow be ascended to 200 light level. 8 RespuestasWow... I have no problem with guns becoming obsolete, but it needs to take a little longer than 1 year. How will playstation exclusives be enjoyed by xboxers? Basically only useful in normal crucible? This is pretty disappointing.

Someone please help me understand why they would have a pack of year 1, TDB, and HoW, along side TTK, if all those weapons are going to be obsolete? Someone said they're going to update the raids, anyone know what this means/ have a quote from bungie that they're going to keep fatebringer alive?

1 RespuestaI am going to hold on to mine, look how long it took to add acension in year one, they might just be adding it later to make you use and try to get new weapons, instead of just ignoring because there are better weapons. So for the TLDR people: Bungie is adding play time.

They just jumped the shark with this one... Maybe this is a "fix" to the lack of vault space, very disappointing

Now you can bring all your favorite weapons up to the new 365 attack level. Bungie leading up to TTK release: Um yeah you know the new deal we did for the HoW release with ethiric light so we could give our guardians what they were calling for? A way to upgrade the weapons they love to use and make them viable for the new expansion? Yeah were going to stop doing that and repeat the thing we did in the TDB that everyone complained about.

9 RespuestasThey could just have the raids drop the same weapons at the new power levels, make us old farts re-run to get those weapons again, but what am I saying..... That would cause the bungie teams heads to pop, that would be way to complicated for them....

I'm sure they'll be useful well past day one. We really don't know enough yet to warrant getting our undies in a bunch.
