When you were a n00b in Destiny...
What were some things you though or did when everyone was new to this game and things were still being discovered? For example, early on in the game I literally used to think that at the end of Crucy matches or strikes, a random engram would pop up and if you got it in time, it would say that you "found" the reward it in the notifications. So at the end of matches I would sometimes look around for engrams or something to pick up. *faceplams* Wasn't until I got my first legendary drop that I realized this wasn't the case.
So what about you guys?

1 RespuestaI was doing the mission on Earth, the one with the wizard. When i got to it, I would shoot it's shield and it would'nt lose health, just it's shield. So i spent like 10 minutes looking on the internet looking up "HOW THE HELL DO I KILL A WIZARD" lol

7 RespuestasThe moment when I went to Rahool with my first legendary engram, all excited to get my first legendary. When I turn it in, he gives me a rare sniper rifle. As I lie on the tower floor, sobbing, Rahool comes up and whispers in my ear "Oh, that's a keeper."

Took awhile to fully understand what xur was, I'm not sure how long it took for me to finally buy an exotic off him, but I know it was longer than most

So. I thought the citadel was a secret way into the vault for the LOOOOONGEST.

Being a Ex CoD player, when destiny came out I thought the 30fps was gonna be my downfall to the fullest. Sure enough a day or two later i went 43-8 in the crucible haha.

1 RespuestaI thought Hunters were the only ones that could use guns. I am serious. I didn't know much about the game so I thought Titans used energy powered blades, maces etc. and Warlocks used space magic to shoot at enemies. The Hunter description on the character creator made me think they were the gunner class. I still enjoy my Hunter as my main, but would've loved to use a warlock.... #suchnoobiness

I had my best friend convince me to go out and buy destiny and a Xbox and with in two weeks I was getting carried through my first raid. Then I started posting on the forums to assemble raid teams which then those teams turned into a long friendship. Now we run shit all the time. We all have been working to increase our stats and make ourselves prepared for the ttk.

Wondered how everyone could walk so fast in the tower, thought, they must have really high agility (I didn't know I could sprint til I hit 20)

I thought a exotic engram had dropped from a strike, like after killing the boss, but I had died and couldn't pick it up because my team were too busy dancing to revive me, I later realized it was a green under a lighting effect

2 RespuestasPhysically trying to pick up glimmer after you killed an enemy. Sprinting toward engrams because you thought other players could take them. Shouting at your teammates to take all the heavy ammo lying on the ground and getting frustrated because they kept saying they couldn't see it. Getting excited when engrams turned into ascendant materials. Not knowing what the 3 elemental damage types were or did. Seriously I didn't know about them until my low / mid 20's.

I used to think that everyone could see all the same drops. By that I mean if I got a legendary engram drop, anyone else could get it, and I always felt really bad whenever I picked up a legendary engram at the loot cave - I felt like I was stealing it. I also didn't now vog stood for Vault of Glass until I was about level 30.

I thought you could actually beat patrol so I spent like 3 hours once on patrol and eventually I just gave up
