Give us the turn off auto aim function already!!!
How many people have to say we want to be able to turn auto aim off, before Bungie will put it in a damn update!!! I am seriously sick of getting killed in crucible because the person I was aiming at and almost killed, had someone else run behind them!!! I don't care about the enemy twice as far away from me!! I care about the one I was aiming at, and who has now killed me because all of a sudden my shotgun was jerked to the right pointing at someone I can barely hit with my shotgun!!! Thanks for killing me, instead of letting me aim at whatever I feel like aiming at and possibly killing both of them. I am sick of my gameplay getting messed up by some rando running past the battle I am in!!! Give us the damn option to turn off auto assists already!!!!!! Come on!!!!!! Shouldn't it be our choice?!?!??!

The reason it's not an option is because it's a feature of your scope on your sniper look for scope that are long range with no target acquisition

A better idea would be a new crucible mode where there was no auto aim assist. Red dead redemption had the option to play without auto aim and pvp modes with it disabled. Was great to have that choice.

1 RespuestaIt should be our choice, but you know what? It's a console game. Ever played a console game with no aim assist? It's -blam!-ing hard. And you know what else? In Destiny, target acquisition is a stat, so they can't really just "take it out" without messing up game balance. I would like to see it as an option, but I seriously understand why its implemented.

The posts about me not knowing what I am talking about, and would not be able to hit anything without aim assistance are rediculous. If your aim in posting a response on this forum is to try to insult me, or tell me how much I have no idea about what I am talking about, move along trolls!! Some people wan't the Option to turn it off. it does not effect You or your Gameplay Many people play Console games like BF3/4 and Turning Aim assist OFF is the first thing we do . i can play with a controller and Aim the pointy end at what i want and hit or miss depending if i actually should hit the target or not . its funny they put in aim assist and then make Random Bullet spread on Guns ,,, First we are going to help you Aim but then we are going to make it so some of your bullets are going to miss anyway ... /Logic out the window ... an overly complicated way for the game to do what you would do anyway = Miss sometimes ..

2 RespuestasIf you want auto aim turned off, i encourage you to try this... Turn on Halo, join a multiplayer match, pull out your battle rifle, and try to kill a teammate at mid range... I'll wait right here til you get back.

4 RespuestasOr, just kill people before others show up? Honestly, aim assist helps your reticule stick to targets and is meant for sniping. Maybe if you weren't trying to shotgun, you wouldn't have this problem.
