O think people shouldnt be collecting armor and weapons that are mostly obsolete by now and will be by year 2, I have never used my vault except for materials and strange coins and motes I've never put a gun or armor piece on the vault

I have 3 characters and i agree with this guy.... i have about 12 open weapon slots and a full 20 in armour slots. The only one that's close is materials because of all the telemetry i have. Delete shit.problem solved.

You have one character and barely 9 total exotics. I doubt you even had the vanilla game. It's no wonder you don't need the vault. Your opinion is irrelevant, as harsh as it may seem. Soon you will understand and see that the vault space is needed
-
Plus exotics are useless with their 1 equipped limit I won't be switching armor or weapons mid fight because of it so I'd rather not use any, mostly ghallahorn and suros regime and now that I finally got ice breaker
-
Totally wrong I had vanilla, BETA and preordered both dlcs before the game even came out
-
One character and barely 150 hours put in. Your opinion on this is worthless. Sorry if that comes off as harsh, but its a fact.

I am married and I have two daughters and a full time job from M to F 8-5 sorry if I only have time to dedicate to one character

Stay on point. You're trying to tell people why they DON'T need vault space, and you're one of the least qualified to make that statement. People that have played regularly since Day 1 have unique guns that can't be attained anymore, with perks that are no longer available, and which are far better than subsequent guns. That's one reason. Another is that vets know weapon "re-balancing" continually makes some guns crap and others beasts. I have about 5 auto rifles I don't use NOW, but they will be viable again after 2.0 update.
-
By the time the weapons rebalancing update is out there will also be a lot of new weapon which are gonna make those 5 auto rifles even more useless
-
You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Name one HoW weapon that anyone should consider keeping over the VoG weapons. They were NOT better, which is why people that have played since Day 1 have overflowing vaults. Time for you to make a post about the "weird discovery" you made in that one cave in Skywatch.
-
People hace overflowing vaults because they get too attached to items. VoG weapons are still good after HoW because BUNGIE allowed to ascend them (I myself still use VoC over any other weapon) But do you think they'll keep updating guns to be ascended from year one on year two? They can do it but I think they won't that's my point. I think they'll cap VoG and other year one weapons at 365 while introducing new one that might go let's say up to 439. They clearly stated on the update that they want people to try new guns and not be attached to a particular fun through all of the game and subsequent dlc. Which is what makes me think that they'll cap year one weapons at 365 and judging by the community this game has they'll quickly ditch those guns in favor of the next thorn or the next ghallahorn. I mean why use a 365 weapon on the oryx raid when you can have a 439(hypothetical damage) You won't get any invited to group if they see you with those "crap guns"
-
Now your retarded argument changed. If ascension stops, and other guns surpass the ones Day 1ers have, then we will replace them. But it might take more than 1 DLC to do it. My 300 Fatebringer still did way more damage than any 331 gun did, which is why it stayed with NO ascension at the time. And since Bungie did ascend, it's a moot point now anyways until at least TTK comes out. Your original statement was that people should not have vault issues NOW.
-
My point is people get too attached to collecting items, Example: I myself have dismantled thorn 3 times now, bad juju once, ghallahorn 3 and last word 2 times before I decided to keep it, why? because I recognize I don't use any other weapon other than VoC almost any time, very rarely so why carry around a bunch of other guns I'm not gonna use, I am super effective with VoC I can get precision hit with my eyes closed with it why use another weapon? Same with ghallahorn... Only weapon I switch often is the special weapon and I just switch it based on the burn I need between arc and void (got solar covered with VoC and ghally) And so that is the reason I have never use the vault and thus find that it is fine how it is, hoarders like you? Well good luck finding where to stash those guns that you won't use. I know by experience that discussions in forum can be never ending due to people like you who don't know how to take someone else's opinion and actually consider it for a sec. So thanks for the chat it was entertaining (only reason why I read and participate in these forum it's entertaining to read whiners and morons, and rile them up) but don't be expecting any more replies to this specific thread on my part I have better things to do, you go do your exotics checklist.
-
You got schooled. Tuck tail and run, good idea. Don't open your noob yap on issues you have no experience with again, and you won't get destroyed publicly like this. Twerp.
-
Still it's like playing WoW now and still be using illidans warglaives or a tier 6 armor, useless
-
Get my armory or one of another day 1er, then tell me which weapons you're gonna break down.
-
Go beat skolas

Says the guy with 1 character.
