The Taken King version of the VoG ? The Taken army in the Vaulf of Glass?
Someone posted pretty cool stuff on reddit, thought would be nice to share it here!

Look at the armor perks and stats. They look more similar to what we've seen at E3 build of the game. (this year, a few weeks ago)
There is also a "reforge" perk at the end of the tree. Stats are reduced to be 100/100/100 and light is really low.
There is also a screenshot from the Bungie's reveal trailer of the Taken King that shows The Taken in the Vault of Glass!

The blue tinted VoG armor was determined to be an elevated hard mode reward. It was expected that when TDB was released that the Vog would get an additional difficulty option to A; keep it relevant and B; to offer players additional ways to reach lvl 32. Of course all this never happened. ..

1 RespuestaThat first pic is from an old Destiny trailer and those are just different version of the Raid gear the Vault was supposed to have. Any vanilla Destiny Day One player knows that when VoG was datamined there was two sets of armor. That pic is one of either...The other set they cut or just different skinned VoG gear we have now.

The problem with your post is that kabr would have nothing to do with The Taken being in VoG. He died while the Vex were there. He isn't around for Taken. So there can't be a link between that armour piece and TTK DLC.

Then we'll be able to play the modified versions with a difficulty switch. Though I'm sure there'll be Taken in patrol events like Blades and Wolves. My main hope is that the raid for Oryx is more complicated than VoG....and that he's not a simple stationary damage sponge boss. Hoping he takes a more active roll...like actively engages the players....or like many bosses in other games. Lookin for some Metroid And Prime bosses.

4 RespuestasHaving read a lot of comments on this Thread, with quite a few idiots saying; "Oh look! It's the 'New Raid' they promised! Rehashed content!". You're idiots. You seriously need to sit down, and rethink your life, because it clearly isn't what you're doing. First of all - on the Reddit thread, this is labeled as an 'IDEA' and not an actual fact posted by Bungie. Second - The Taken are not the same enemies we have been fighting. People keep maoning; "Ohhh it's the same enemiiiiies with the same mooooves." - Shh. Shut up. Obviously you haven't watched any of the trailers/videos posted proving that they are not even close to the same enemies. Last - We've known about a second VoG Armour Set for each Class, as well as an additional Class Item - that has been in Bungie's database since the start of the game. This is most likely a much harder difficulty for the Vault of Glass that has new elements, including Taken Vex and probably new things to do (Since we slew Atheon in the prior VoG, it's possible we fight something new.)

That armor has been in the VoG code for ages. Those pics are new though. Nice post link.

So basically, I have re grind for this "new" gear. Has similar stats but looks slightly different. Same shit, I already have Kabrs gear. Like why not infuse it with a taken soul and that's how it's made. -blam!- re grinding.

8 RespuestasInstead of making new content it seems all bungie knows what to do is recycle old content. We've gone into VOG twice now, once as a raid and the other time in a story mission in HOW. I love VOG but only in its raid form. If this is bungies idea of new unique environments and enemies I am not impressed. Bungie knows we all love VOG but enough already. Stop being lazy and make a new area worth our money. You say you seem the taken king with the 40 price tag? So far I've seen nothing that proves it too me. Everyone will come to this post and scream we are getting a new patrol. Yes a new patrol area but it's not going to be anything different from what we already have. And patrol areas are tiny. How often do you jump on to patrol? Never. Bungie says this is their biggest raid yet, but I'm concerned in the trailer. I see jumping puzzles... Which I love actually but we've done a jumping puzzle give us something new! VOG already has a jumping puzzle. Give us something different. New subclass? These look amazing. Nuff said. New weapons? They look badass, I haven't seen the perks yet though.

4 RespuestasEver since the vault of glass opened, maybe even before the game came out, people knew about the alternate armor sets from vault of glass by data mining. There is a set for each class although we never heard anything about it since, I don't know if it would be a good thing that they were planning this far ahead and thinking about alternant raids, or had this much content planned and couldn't get it into the final game.

But also remember that they already said that the dreadnought will be the location for the new raid. So maybe we will get the new one plus a rehash of vog. I'd be into that.
