Why the -blam!- are people asking for 34 only on crota
If you do this, you are an ass.
Edit 1.. I have 3 34's myself just don't understand why some people are so unwilling to help new people..

Scrub lords. I've tried to raid with those 34 only kids and many haven't ever ran vog before it's scary

2 RespuestasThey do the same thing with VoG, hell I have seen LFG posts saying "34 only" on VoG normal... People done seem to understand that it's no different than a level 2 dreg being able to kill you on patrol...

We did one last night with 5 players and one of the new player is only 30 another player is afk. You don't believe me. Inspect my warlock. Then I helped 2 new friends with POE 32 & 34. before that we helped them with their 1st VOG normal and NF. If you need help and you are on PS4. Look me up. Cheers! BTW you will see a lot of fist of Crota that is because I'm farming for husk of pit. 6 days still can't find one... ah

8 RespuestasIf someone's trying to find 34s for a Crota run, they're just unsure of their own skill level. You can easily beat Crota as 33 and 33. The only person who should be 34 is the swordbearer, the only person actually putting damage on Crota's health. But that's just my opinion, a lot of people are more picky than I am.

I was playing Crota on hard today as my Hunter and two people wanted me to be 34 (With gear that I like wearing in CE im 33). So I swap out to be 34. No-one knew how to sword-bear, but I can do it on my Titan with ease (ish). So I swap out my gear and continue to talk, not in an annoying way, but so much so that no-one saw my level. Kill Crota after 4-6 attempts (forget lol) but before I got the last sword, a guy shouted [quote]33 kick him! Its bad enough with one other![/quote] Crota died, loot was acquired by them (I had already run it) and the guys just stayed quiet (or I couldnt hear them, it was their first CE hard completion and there was many "OMG I GOT THE WORD/RED DEATH" :P).

People don't understand that the level system is pretty wonkers in Destiny and completely different than what they might assume. So... It's Bungies fault really for not including any descriptions or tutorials for game mechanics. Without sites like Reddit, nobody would understand it.

1) Because Destiny doesn't offer matchmaking for some of it's premier activities. 2) Because Bungie created a leveling system that isn't very consistent with other leveling systems, and that is never clearly communicated to players. You can blame people for not understanding, or figure out this is exactly what Bungie created.

When i look at the recrutiment page on the forum i generally read the following "CROTA HARD MUST BE 34 MAX WEAPONS SPEED RUN" What it actually says is "I'M CRAP NEED TO BE CARRIED THROUGH AND BE ABLE TO CHEESE THE RAID CAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT NORMALLY, MAX WEAPONS DUE TO ME NOT HAVE ANY" Now maybe I'm wrong but i doubt i am as all the groups i joined this week did not once do any raid properly..

8 RespuestasI'll drop all 3 of my character back down to 30/31 and run Crota normal Solo and be done before ogres. Heck, I'll Run sword on hm at that level, may need to kill ogres though. Agh, the days before every scrub grew the balls to run sword. Now every chump is 34, they all suddenly have the minerals to jump up at Crota and smash him with the blade. To varying degrees of success I may add. Saw one dude, a 34 hunter (bladedancer) try it.. 15 times.. he never got it whilst I was witness, I got so fed up I just said goodbye.
