No silly, my point isn't to refute your statement. The point is to say why is government able to control substances in the manner in which they do? If it's poisonous obviously you'll know stay away. Geez you just gotta stop being salty and answer my questions and stop defending your statement. Otherwise you're just wasting your breath. Tl,dr: plz answer my questions.

They do because most people know the consequences of taking certain substances. If they weren't regulated to some degree then you'd see more people dying from overdoses of something they shouldn't have. If you want smoke weed, whatever, I don't care, but it's damaging your body and without someone to tell you that it is you'd fill your body with whatever you find because "why not".

If people willingly destroy their bodies why not let them. Social systems create entitlements which are used by those who abuse themselves. Look at the way Portugal set up their drug policies and get back to me with your bright ideas. P.s. I'm playing devil's advocate here lol. I do not use drugs. I like to look at the big picture.
