Due to Microsoft's lauch parity policy, the title is more than likely destined for PS4/PC only. The only way it makes it to Xbox is if Microsoft drops its Parity clause and tries to work with the developer directly to make an exception, which has never been done before in the history of Xbox (and knowing Microsoft, the chances of that are extremely slim).

Wow, so uneducated. That policy isn't what you think it is

Editado por DV-Insomniac: 7/2/2015 7:40:00 PMThe policy is literally Microsoft wants exclusive or equal lauch rights, or they refuse the game outright. They explained it as wanting players to feel "first class" over other consoles. This would mean since No Man's Sky is set to lauch on PS4/PC first, Xbox would have to drop the Parity clause or make an exception, which is being done in the near future (FF7 remake) but is still up to the developer (hello games) which they have not said anything about wanting it on Xbox. Uneducated?

So then why are indie games that came out on ps4 first, coming soon to Xbox?

Actually, Microsoft has said they will work with companies that want to bring any games over. What the parity clause is designed to do is to try and prevent just a shitty port to be implemented for Xbox. I also think that when Xbox One first came out the parity clause was more strict than it is in its current state. Microsoft is listening to gamers and adapting.

Pretty much. Microsoft will have to get rid of the parity clause or else it will come off as Microsoft will be playing favoritism towards certain indie devs and cause a backlash, again, with the indie devs. Microsofts attempt to strong-arm indie devs backfired and should lose the clause.
