Anyone who has been playing since day one has to see how unbalanced crucible has become. Thorn used to be terrible, now its too easy and effective. Pulse rifles are basically where auto rifles used to be but even a little better. Peoples loadouts are pretty close to being the same.
People all use the same stuff...this is bungies reason behind most of their nerfs.
I beat a team in doubles by myself. Why? Simply because I was using TLW and found verdict. I'm not that good...but the one guys auto rifle was pretty much a bb gun and the other guy just couldn't seem to hit me with anything but a shotgun.
There's no more fusion rifles, not nearly as much sniping as their used to be. Virtually no auto rifles, etc. Get the point? Its all hand cannons, red death, messenger, and matadors and felwinters. A single perk made 2 shotguns beat pretty much every other one.
There at least used to seem to be a decent mix in there (minus suros, lol). My only point is....at this point, bungie should be looking at TTK's (time to kill), re-crunching the numbers and balancing things out. Dont just nerf stuff because people use it, ie auto rifles.

I personally enjoyed crucible when it first came out. Had loads of fun running an auto rifle. Yeah some thing were overpowered, but everything was to some extent. But it was a lot better back then than it is now
-
First vex..then suros..now thorn..if the pattern follows a thorn nerf is inbound, when though that's anyone's guess
-
It was awesome before DLC all different guns very varied not just exotic HC

Honestly at this point it doesn't matter for say oners. The reason is is that if you're a day one player you should have every class at 34 or at the least 33. Also if you're a day one player you should have all the "best" crucible weapons as they have been sold by xur, have been sold/dropped from IB or you have got and completed the thorn bounty. It would be nice to see some variety other than HCs as primaries. Secondaries won't vary that much just because shotguns work ok 99% of maps and will always work with blink. Take away shot package and rangefinder will allow fusions to come back a little but the amount of complaints will flood forums. You have to realize that when it comes to any sort of pvp it's considered "competitive". I say that in quotations because of the lack of an actual ranked/ladder system but yet because it's against actually players and there's a winning/losing it's competitive in it's own rights. Therefore players will always use the 'best' possible weapons in pvp to win. There's no such thing as 'perfect balance' in pvp in any game. Take World of Warcraft pvp for instance; every class will use the exact same set of gear/enchantments because it's the 'best' for pvp. The only difference is transmog to look different. Before transmog every single player of the same class looked exactly the same and had the same weapons (usually). The point is no matter what they do players will have the same weapon set up or close to it.

2 RespuestasAnd yet my kd has stayed the same throughout all the changes. I beat an entire team of flawless emblems who had Thorn while using hawkmoon in salvage. I went 29-0. Skill>weapons. The only gun and I mean the only gun that requires the least amount of aiming skill is TLW at close range.
-
The game was unbalanced from the start.. Lol

4 RespuestasI miss the days when everysingle person was using an AR at all ranges... jk you might think its unbalanced right now but atleast people are using handcannons pulse rifles and scout rifles now. There was almost nobody using hand cannons during the ARs time only a few people were starting to pick up TLW. Scout rifles were alot more situational and pulse rifles were just bad other than red death (i still think that pulse rifles suck). ARs have been over nerfed but overall the game is more balanced than it was. Thorn probably needs a nerf or to just return to itts original state. Other than that its ok.
-
crucible will always be unbalanced. until we are all in there with no class choices no armor choices and swinging pillows at each other there will always be a "best" weapon a "best" class and a "best" armor piece. those best pieces will always be used to get the most advantage, this is competitive PVP.
-
Not a day one player so i guess im free to make up my own mind. I dont bitch about balance. If some dude is destroying a team with thorn or tlw, good for him. I have those same tools available to me. I prefer the mida, but i dont complain because someone kills me.

Editado por Jambob1998: 6/26/2015 2:25:15 PMThorn was still good at the start, people just didn't realise it cos Suros was all the rage (and all autos tbh)... Pulse rifles were trashy and needed a buff, autos needed a tiny nerf, but nothing as large as what they actually did. And scout rifles have always been OP :p Edit: can I just say that I sometimes go into crucible with an auto rifle and a fusion rifle equipped??? Lol
-
Thorn was never bad it's always been as broken as it is only thing that changed is they nerfed auto rifles into the ground because everyone was using them... During iron banner with auto rifle bounties
-
There's rarely any competitive FPS that doesn't have balance issues. It's called meta. Even if the current "OP" weapons/skills get nerfed, players will find another advantage with something else. I actually think most of the "OP" weapons have disadvantages that can be exploited giving the game a rock, paper, scissors dynamic. Also, as a day 1 player, I have to say it's way more balanced now than it ever was.
-
Crucible has always been unbalanced. Wether it was the rule of the suros and vex or the thorn and the last word. i mean the only weapon type that remained neutral was scout rifles.
-
I agree I used a fusion rifle the other day just because no used them and I was recking guess people forgot how deadly they can be in the right hands same with any gun
-
Um, yeah. That's why I never play.
-
I used to hate thorn but now I've improved 8/10 I beat thorn with red death plus get health ReGen in progress
-
Hand cannons in general are just to much better then everything else
-
Crucible is unbalanced, has always been, and probably always will be.

7 RespuestasThis has nothing to do with Bungie but the choices of the community
-
Everyones load out is similar? You still have choice, this isnt halo 3 where only the br was relevant

i actually used my shadow price (365) in trials a couple weeks ago took out the other team, with teamates help of course, but it seemed like it took almost the whole clip to drop one person :( i remember shadow price use to dominate. my vanquisher as well. Even put up a fight against suros' reign of power. I just wanna use my shadow price again!!!!

Editado por Mr Millz: 6/26/2015 1:01:39 PMI remember when the shingen c was the most op gun in pvp. Don't be butt hurt if you can do good in pvp it takes time too get use to your play style and also if you have to play dirty then play dirty fight fire with fire you might actually like it.
-
Thorn and firebolt grenades are way too OP. Need to change asap. Pulse rifles need to be buffed, AR slight buff and shotguns need a nerf. Their range is insane sometimes. Snipers need to lose the scope lens glare as well.

1 RespuestaIt would be nice it auto rifles were good again.
