Yes. I bought 3 collectors editions BC well I could haha. I'm giving out codes to DLCs and emotes I don't use. I'm a day 1 player and bought digital taken King so that means DLC1x3 DLC2x3 Taken Kingx3 Emotes exotic class itemsx2 I'm giving away I wanted the extra stuff plus I'm getting year one stuff since I've been playing since day 2 of launch :D (1800+ hours played) I think it's worth it to be honest I think it's dumb to sell separately like this. It should only be for collectors edition I back Luke's original statement on this. But I am giving away codes when this comes out when mine come in the mail.... I do have a YouTube channel that is empty for videos as of now but I'm trying to learn how to record, edit, voice over, and load videos up online to youtube. Lol. Collectors is the way I'm going. Well worth all the extra $40 for a ton of extra stuff. As for re buying it, lol sell the old disc. There is around $10 back. On an economical standing, collectors is the best bet. Edit, scratch that. It's currently worth $20 trade in at gamestop. Boom, there is a chunk of the extra you paid.

Well since you asked so nicely... Worth? How many hours of entertainment will you get from spending the cash? Take a girl (not your mom... ;) jk) out to eat and go see a movie. Depending on the meal, $50-$100 spent. For what? 4 hours time and a lonely fart-filled blue-balls ride home to your shitty apartment. So sad... Spend that money on video games!!!! Sit in your windowless basement (just like mine) and play thousands of hours shooting aliens in the face. Money well spent.

Wealthy is a relative term but I will comment as I certainly could easily affort to spend that money on a game, and have spent that much money on collectors additions of games before. In this particular case, no I dont think its worth spending $80 on content I have already purchased just to get a couple of emotes, and some gear that my charecter will never use. Everyone is all up in arms because they wont get a a couple dance moves and some "exotic" items that are only intended to help new players catch up to the rest of us unless they buy the $80 version Why do you even care? Just spend $40 on the TTK only edition. Why spend an extra $40 for a bunch of stuff that will sit in your vault and/or youll never use? And why get all butthurt about this useless stuff?

this is how i break it down, sense alot of us already have all the the game up to this point. if you wanted all the extra content not given with the ttk only package you have to buy the higher priced one. having it all but ttk and specal items the destiny original dlc1 and2 are not valid and cancel out. your paying approximately 80 bucks for the special items and ttk. the dlc and weapons pack is valued for 40 dollars. so whats left is 40 for the special items. in the end we have to pay an extra 40 dollars to get the special items the new players get that dont have all the game then ask yourself is 40 worth the special items. for me no,others yes.each to their own.

Wouldn't someone making minimum wage have a have a more weighted thought process on this? Many wealthy people are not in touch with value when it comes to consumer items like video games, it's nothing to them so of course they will have no problem buying it. You're asking the wrong people.

Cosmetic items like this are always really subjective as far as costs go.

40 bucks? I spend 3 or 4 times that on a night out every weekend and I'm not super rich, still not buying it. It's not about affordability, it's the fact that bungie is being an asshole

I don't see why a wealthy persons opinion would carry any weight on this issue. If they're living in Beverly Hills, driving a Ferrari, while wearing an Armani suit and checking the time on their Rolex, I don't think dropping 80 bucks for a collectors edition is gonna put a dent in their wallet.

Wealth is measured differently by different people. My fiancé and I will be getting the collectors edition hoopla have for Xbox one. Because we have xbox 360 currently and will be upgrading due to gears 4 and backwards compatibility. I like Destiny. I have spent far more money on "hobbies" that didn't last as long, or provide daily enjoyment. That being said, if we weren't upgrading we wouldn't be getting the CE but would get TTK nonetheless.
