Combined Arms is the Last Decent Game Mode
Title says it all, Combined Arms is the only game mode in Crucible where things aren't garbage. All other game modes are just Thorn and shotguns. Combined Arms maps actually force people to use things meant for longer range, and that require at least a modicum of skill. While yes, you do see those cheap tactics occasionally in CA, it is much less common.
Honestly, it's the only Crucible mode I really enjoy anymore.
Edit: Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Agree. I love using Scouts Rifles in their proper setting. Also, I love sniping people out of their vehicles, I could do it all day, every day.

Bro YES. My friend and I thought we were the only ones!!!! All the cheap tactics are terrible there. Every now and then I see a blink shotgunner with a thorn in CA and know he's about to be crushed

1 RespuestaI love combined arms, for almost the exact same reasons. I think it's hilarious when you find those ToO players who are tricked out in all their perfect run ToO gear, and they have thorn and felwinter's lie equipped, and then you destroy them over and over and over again with a scout rifle. So many people don't know how to use a scout rifle and a sniper rifle. I wish there were more larger sized maps, and I wish the large maps were in with the normal crucible rotation. The skill gap from close range to long range combat is pretty massive.

Bungie, the creators of HALO aka vehicle paradise, now have a game with only ONE PVP type with vehicles, AND ITS NOT EVEN PERMENANT! It's from time to time. And as if that isn't bad enough, there are only FOUR different vehicles in CA. Petition to put turrets in more PvE activities, vehicles in more PVP activities, heavy pikes in CA, and make CA a PERMENANT crucible type! sign here.

+1. Looks like standard control must be 5x5 or even 4x4. Other way all you can get is blink-shotty and thorns.

Sniper's Paradise. I always end up with 30+ kills whenever I'm on Combined Arms. Always fun killing Thorn/Shotty Blinkers with my Gheleon's Demise + Efrideet's Spear/Praedyth's Revenge.

Love it. Only I would change is less heavy ammo. It seems to frequent, or maybe my life expectancy is a lot higher in CA
