I'm just curious as to why I join a party chat with all men and then inspect their characters to find female characters. Can someone explain this to me?
Edit: I don't care nor does it bother me that men choose to play as female avatars, I was only curious as to why they choose to do so. Most of the answers so far have been interesting/enlightening.

3 RespuestasThe real question is "why do robots have boobs?"
-
First off, I expected a smaller hitbox. Second, I like girls so my primary character is a girl.
-
Why do we eat
-
Why does it matter in the first place?

1 RespuestaI just prefer a female protagonist. Too many games were dudes are the main character.
-
Just as in real life where I like to play with females, in Destiny I like to play with female avatars.
-
2 RespuestasBecause they look and sound more aesthetically pleasing than their male counterparts. Because I don't want to play a game as "myself". Because I love empowered female characters in games. FemShep forever! Because if all the male players played only male characters, they would unrealistically predominate. Because I just want to. :)

So that the type of people like you can make stupid threads in a forum

I have a female titian because I was trying to get my wife into destiny she played it until it was like level 9 then stopped. it's 18 now I was just too lazy to delete it and start over haha
-
I had a male Titan deleted him because I felt the armor looked too bulky and made a female the armor looks more detailed and not like they just stretched it out
-
Because they ar bisexual homapradites
-
I'm waiting for a exotic bikini armour.
-
I had a female hunter, only because I wanted at least one of characters to be female l, however the armours do not seem like they were optimised to look good on the female models so I quickly deleted that female hunter and made a male one.

5 RespuestasCause if ima run around for 1000 hours I'm at least gonna do it looking at a female ass.
-
Probably because it is the closest they can get to vag.
-
My hunter is Leeloo, titan is Brienne of Tarth, and my warlock just because.
-
It depends on their preference. In this game, I made my hunter female because a female hunter/assassin is more appealing to me than a male one. As for my warlock though, I prefer a male in that role (my other warlock is a female only because I didn't want two males). Everyone has different reasons.
-
I hate you.
-
I like looking at my female hunter.
-
Because I got tired of looking at males of varying size and voice do the same thing.
-
I always thought female hunters look better then male hunters and my god the slim curves on them so sexy lol.
-
It's a character in a video game... I like some variety, it's not like I masterbate to my warlock in the start menu fs xD
-
5 RespuestasI've seen females play as males too. THAT truly puzzles me lol
-
-
I play as a female because they're more pleasing to look at, and I've usually always used a male character. So I'm switching shit up
-
I do both. If I can choose I'm of the mind set that if I'm gonna look at a characters back side for hours on end it might as well be a female figure. In some cases it may be because the female rendering of characters looks better or better designed. Sometimes it depends on what I want to name the character. In destiny's case I like the looks more and the face design of the females.
