Should Xur sell Etheric light ?
for all those players out there that are having difficulty obtaining etheric light to level up all our legendary gear and weapons cos we just dont have the time to grind 3 characters each week to obtain enough etheric light to upgrade 1 character at a time, I think there should be another way for etheric light to drop for those like myself who solely play the PVE content..... before all you PvP lovers start hating and tell us to play pvp.... we dont like it , nor will will like it, so dont.....
Should Xur offer etheric light each week e.g max 2 per week for 20 strange coins each

I think Xur should sell it, but with a limit. Like 2-3 a week. So it wont be that easy to get everything maxed out. Even less if it will become a guaranteed drop from nightfall like suggested in a reply below. It should be a thing that lets you be done with everything upgrading within a week. Personally i dont have many etheric lights in my vault. Havent done much 34's or 35's. And if i do them, its mostly on 1 character a week. Looking at how many time a single PoE challange takes, doing all 3 a week on a character almost takes as long as doing a raid on all 3 characters. And Crota takes even less time then that. Someone like me, who has to work and starting to lose interest in Destiny, doing basicly 9 raids a week is not something that i have time for. Or motivation. Because of that, i think there should be a other way to obtain etheric light.

Telling someone who hates PvP/IB/ToO/PoE to get good and just do it is like telling gays that if they try hard enough they can learn to like girls. For me, I'm too old and slow to do well at those activities, but I love raids, Nightfalls and Weeklies etc. and Etheric Light should be available to those of us who do Nightfall/Weekly/Story/Bounties just as it is for those who like PvP and PoE

I could maybe see him selling 1 a week (per account) or something like that. I mean, if you could buy 2 (per character), you'd have all 34s after 2 weeks and really negate the need to do any endgame content. If there was no limit, I'd have half my vault ascended by now. I made the decision that I'll get everything eventually, regardless of how often I play. So I'm not jumping through my ass trying to get everything maxed out immediately. I'm not even sure I'll put that much effort into my alts this expansion... Though I said the same thing last time too.

10 RespuestasYes. And typical of this forum we have the Ghorn generation. "I have one, I don't want anyone else to have one". A huge chunk of destiny players don't raid or PVP. Incredibly stupid of Bungie to ostracise these players.

Xur won't ever sell etheric because it's a carrot (maybe the only one) Bungie is relying on to get players to spend their time on right now. That's why too and poe are flooding it. Also, after the ttk reveal, all of these weapons and armor will be toast. I enjoy the shit I have and will continue, I don't really care for etheric anymore. I will get it when I do. It made me realize that, for me, destiny has and will continue to be an inbetweener.

Sounds like you're more along the lines of bad, than dislike for PvP *Or you're stellar at PvP, except you legitimately cringe at the time playing it, don't play it then. (I highly doubt it, but hey I've seen strange things)

1 Respuesta10-15 strange coins for an etheric light . He should also alow to trade in etheric light for glimmer or something. I dont know. I just need something to do with my leftover 25 etheric light. I have ascended all my armour, every VoG and crota weapon, some x3. So i dont know what to do with mine.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd also like those primary weapons with elemental burns drop somewhere in PVE either, because, as you say, we don't like PvP.

Then Crota came and 32 was easier because of more armor drops but it still took time to farm for shards. Now you are getting full max armor ALREADY AT THE HIGHEST LIGHT LEVEL for beating an activity that is TWO light levels UNDER the current max. AND GUARANTEED etheric light. For fck´s sake how much easier should it be ? Do you want to get etheric light to the postmaster every week with the next DLC?

I agree I think xur should be allowed to sell all upgrade items at a price that means that you still need to play the game to get your coins to buy.

No. Nobody complained about how they couldn't get to 32 because they didn't raid, why have people started? It is supposed to be hard to get, not easy so that people who can't be bothered to find raid teams can reach max light!

I'm on my Xbox account but in my psn account I have 48 just sitting in my vault and I really don't understand how you struggle to get it Trials = 3 per character Prison of elders = 6 per week Iron banner = 6 for all 3 characters Nightfalls = a chance to get 3 (on my ps account I got one this week) You see how easy it is? That's 9 a week and 6 a month for iron banner and 3 extra if you are lucky.

You can easily get 40+ (up to 60) etheric light in 1 month...its easy to get. Should not be sold

Etheric light is easy as shit to get, it would be stupid to sell something so easily obtainable.
