Ok for those who say it's too easy explain part of your strategy to me. Once you break his bonds and get him low enough, how do you damage Skolas, manage the essence, AND diffuse mines all at the same time? It seems like every time we get to that point the mine appears on the other side of the map and we never get there in time because we have to keep switching off the essence to stay alive. So far, everyone has breezed over this part of the strategy and not went into detail. Thanks for your insite in advance.

Its not difficult #1. All you need is a lack of stupidity, and twamwork #2 It's only difficult because u bad. I've beaten him 4 times since his patch, once last night with his new rotation of skulls. He's easy. Again. You need teamwork #3 Upon listing my professional tips, my recommendation is to git gud scrub and quit whining because u too bad to kill Skolas

I beat it yesterday with 2 random #recruitment guardians I met up with to do the nightfall. They were like all right well everyone is 35, want to do Skolas? I was on PS4, had no 365 guns besides Gjallarhorn and he managed to beat him on our second try, the whole fight only taking about 20 min. Shows you how bad people suck when no one was complaining about it being too hard when you could just gally him to death l.

Skolas is easy man, tip: take out 1st servator do a little damage. Wipe out 1st wave of ads, rinse and repeat until you break chains. Then kill waves as they spawn along with dealing damage to skolas. In my opinion skolas was harder with burns if you didn't have the proper weapons, and a glorious titan bubble.

They also have yet to fix heavy ammo glitch

Coming from someone who's never fought Skolas until last night, I didn't find him to be nearly as hard as you're making it out to be. I'm not saying he wasn't hard, he's a pretty damn difficult boss. It's just that you need team coordination and a good strategy (which is what makes me love this fight so much). After a few wipes of learning, my team's strategy went like this: 1. Go left, kill the servitor, DPS Skolas. Kill adds while looking for next servitor, kill servitor, DPS Skolas, repeat until bonds are broken. 2. Once the bonds break, go to the far right side (as in, right side while walking into the arena) of the room. There's a ledge there big enough to fit all 3 people comfortably, there's a decent amount of cover, and one of the mines spawn there. Once all 3 members are on the ledge, DPS the boss while rotating the taint. 3. Mines is where this gets tricky, though I don't think I need to tell anyone that. When mines spawn, send the person who most recently [i]received[/i] the taint and the person who is [i]no longer immune[/i] to the taint to dismantle the first mine, as it will likely spawn on the far end of the arena. These two will have to transfer the taint between themselves at some point. The person who just had the taint [i]removed[/i] from them stays behind to dismantle the second mine, which will likely spawn on top of them while the other two are dismantling the first mine. Then, all 3 members converge on the third mine. Transfer the taint to the person who stayed behind if necessary. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until Skolas is dead. Doing all of this, our team only had to deal with mines twice. Once you're done, congratulations! You've beaten one of the most fun, challenging boss fights in Destiny. Hopefully, you got an Elder Cipher for your efforts.

You sir sound like you suck at this game. They cut his health almost in half to appease cry babies like you and what happens. You guys still cry it's to hard. The next patch they to fix it should lower his health from 15,000 to 6 so all you have to do is shoot him once without breaking his bonds. I feel this would still be to hard for people like you.

I found it easier. Got it on our first try. Dps, rotate, kill adds, rotate, dps boss. It's a Ling fight, slow and steady wins the race.

Learn to work as a team. Pass the poison at around 6-5-4 seconds and stay close to each other. We did it last night without a Warlock although we had Blessing of Light which helped. We also had two Gjallarhorns and Hunger at 365. Brawler is on so shotgun and then punch enemies together and they will go down quick!

Stop complaining and get good, learn to shoot, communication is key with you're team.

He's so easy now, I was only on that entire prison for 2 hours. Learn to work as a team.
