I just booted a kid
I felt like a total dick but he was talking crap the entire raid so I booted him seconds before taking atheon down. Boy was he mad. But damn it was funny. Should I feel bad for getting the last laugh?

Edit 2: Thank you for all the feedback. I have come to the conclusion that he got what he deserved. Alot of you seem to hide when getting bullied online by muting someone. I, on the other hand get even.
Edit 3: Karmas a bitch, in the midst of slaying Atheon just now, Bungie decides to pull out the boot. Entire fireteam disconnected :|

Well kids do that anyways. We all done it as an kid ourselves lol but in general we have had some players just bragging over and over about stuff in destiny and what they did and they were adults and it can really be annoying.

1 RespuestaI love the responses you are getting. No one knows anything about you or about the kid. For all we know u r a saint and the kid is a spoiled brat. Or you are a dbag and the kid has no parents and acts a prick just to get attention. You just never know. I hope you told the kid he was being intolerable, otherwise he is just going to be pissed off and not know why he got the boot.

If you were doing atheon BEFORE DLC's then yes it would be very mean... After 2 DLC's and a third one announced and atheon is the easiest thing in the world AND he has an atheon save now? No big deal really... Its mean but eh, not that bad

Booted a guy today because he kept getting teleported during Atheon and dying.

I've helped numerous people and don't mind. But when kids just join your fireteam without asking assuming u will do whatever for them. I've thus defriended around 40 immature annoying kids and now set my privacy to closed so I'm not bothered I turn the game on. But there are some kids who are considerate. Just boot the crappy ones it's OK, they'll live and get over it.

I wouldn't feel bad. I kicked a dude and chick for being annoying they were underage gamers you can tell. I gave them a chance but it was annoying. So we gave them the boot. I am very tolerable but couldn't handle them immaturity of them during our Raid. So they got the boot..

I boot ass clowns but I don't wait the entire raid. I usually give them a chance to knock it off and if they don't I'll toss them out, regardless of where we are.

He got what he deserved, was doing a poe with my house mate and a random and he was talking shit the entire time he had the most deaths and the least kills and was blaming us for everything so he got kick when we went for the chests, that's just how it goes if you're going to be an arrogant dick then you get what you are asking for in my eyes.

If someone is talking crap don't go through a whole activity then boot the person right before the rewards. Makes u look like a scrub. I always warn the person to chill out if they don't after 5 minutes boot if we're still in the beginning if a activity. Also "Mute" is nice

2 RespuestasSo my brother and I live in the same house. We both have the Xbox smart glass thing which allows you to control any Xbox using your internet. So right before we killed Crota (his first time killing him, my second) I used my phone and turned off his xbox. I had to lock my door he was so pissed xD

You did what had to be done. I did the same on the final round of PoE. This speaker didn't have any maxed or applicable weapons for the activity. He was arrogant and barking orders whilst dying. I felt a bad, but we got through the activity on our next attempt without him. Das boooot!

1 RespuestaYou are a dick. If we was annoying you mute him or ask him to leave early in the raid. He obviously wasn't preventing you and your team from completing the raid if Atheon was about to go down.

Man some people are -blam!- tards on destiny doing 34 with my friends friend we had an argument about the taken king and how much it cost and then he mutes me in the party coz I was right and then blocks me on psn and we are killing the boss it took us about 30 mins to do whole thing and he blocked me during the boss fight and I used synthesis and shit on my gallys and we jumping to the treasure room and bam kicked wow just wow what a -blam!-
