I'm 49 and have given up trying to find groups and teams. It's all youngsters who are a million times better than me so it kind of puts me off.
Past experience has shown a lack of tolerance towards my age because I may not be as skilful or catch on as quickly.

It just sucks how easy it is to find assholes on here. Im 20 and play with a couple of guys a lot who are a decent amount older than i am- honestly,i usually cant stand playing with people around my age

There's no law saying we have to play with people of a certain age. I just find some comments and attitudes get out of hand. I don't want constant swearing. Not because I'm a prude but because it gets annoying when all I can hear is a constant barrage of four letter words!. Sure one of two slip out from time to time but with some it's every other word and it just puts me off. I know I'm rubbish at the game so being told that is fine but if it's constantly rubbed in my face it becomes aggravating. I don't mind a bit of banter or a few witty comments at my inability to shoot straight or jump but some people just moan and whinge constantly at me and it's not going to make me do any better. People take this way too seriously.

But don't be put off by it, I had nothing but pleasant experiences with them. All they care about is making sure you're having fun and not feeling too pressured. I even got to do my first ever raid because of them :) Timezones appear to be American most of the time as well. Doesn't bother me as much being in the UK since I can stay up late but if that's a concern for you then no worries!

I'm 21 and despise squeakers especially American squeakers they're bratty and arrogant and refuse to listen even though you're right. Been stuck in a raid doing it a squeakers way and failing many many times

ps4? Add me lol.. I am 22, but full grown with family, house and job and all that.. Young people sound as terrble as they are most likely... But in PoE communication is important, so not being able to talk with a proper person sucks. Young people also always tend to be more aggressive and quitters. Or as title, idiots.

Funny, @ 45 I haven't come across that many squeakers. I've run with some teens. I did get invited to a party for Crota once. 3 squeaks trying to form a team. I was hesitant but decided to try. Until I heard one say "I'm going to try the sword thingy daddy". Left immediately.

It's not all young players. I'm 17, and I don't like many squeaker but some are really nice. The same for older guys. Everyone should be treated equally until given a reason not to. If you need raids on ps4 I can run you through crota and I have friends who love free shards on vog. Psn is Darkredemption12.

I don't need raids, just still do them. I'm not opposed to squeakers, but the words "try, thingy, and daddy" were enough warning that it was going to be rough.
