I aint Paying $40 for your BS Bungie.

The problem is not my money, its just in the last year, bungie has proven to me that they're not a worthy company. They don't deserve my $40 I've given them the benefit if the doubt, but dark below was monstrous and HoW is meh I cant wait to shell out another large amount of money (in my opinion thats a lot of money) to be: -Let down after two weeks; -Get bored, even with a full group of friends in about 3-4 weeks; -Reach max level in 2 days; -destroyed in crucible due to some rocket launcher with regen ammo; (aka some innovative bullshit from bungie) -Thorn still being a thing; -completing a raid boss that will be nothing compared to its predecessors, and eventually get boring and never completed; -Disappointed by the lack of a story even though Oryx is a massive piece of Hive storyline, if they screw that up.... -scratching my head, since the story of the dlc will just nit effect the game, patrols etc.. -Looking at my wallet mid October in grief where the $40 used to sit. This game sucks but you'll keep funding it. Dayum, desticles......... let this post die lol To all destiny fans. Who spent it best? http://imgur.com/r2Xovw3 Reason I've spent so much: I bought the Limited Edition for £99.99 ($120-$140)

Could care less (although I'm trying not to). The only decent map choice thus far was Mercury. It should've stayed on Mercury, or better yet, should have been a group of new Mercury maps. That's what many people were expecting. The only way to play on the new maps on Mercury was to do Trials. However, since the network is trash and you clearly can't police the cheaters running rampant on Trials, I'm done. I got my three emblems on Week 1 and I'm never coming back. Trash map choices and trash games with lag-outs and lag-switchers. It's a damn shame - you're willing to give out guaranteed elemental primaries to CRUCIBLE players where it doesn't matter, but Skolas never drops elemental primaries it seems. Even the primaries he's supposed to drop are trash compared to the stats of the Osiris weapons. So much for balance... The same amount of work and skill involved - you said that it would be equal for both sides of the house. Clearly it's not and you lied. You've lost tons of players for ToO and this cheap gimmick isn't doing you any favors. It's a limited opportunity for players to re-hate the Trials even more. Fix your network, balance the PvE drops to match the rewards in PvP, and maybe you'll get the response from the player base you're seeking. I doubt that Deej or anyone would be willing to respond, but that doesn't make everything I just stated any less true. There are problems - core problems- with this DLC that need addressed: Changes For PVE: - Skolas has a guaranteed drop for a random elemental primary upon first defeat for each character that week. (Cipher stays random.) If Trials can have guaranteed primaries, why not us? Both activities are end-game after all... - Some of the PoE weapons are a joke stats-wise: The pulse rifle is trash compared to the Messenger, for example. Both gun sets (Osiris and PoE) should be fairly equal in power so that both sides of the house are getting quality drops for the time invested in their particular side of Destiny. - Lower the ridiculous spongy health bar of Skolas. No enemy in Destiny should be able to tank 40+ Solar Burn-boosted Gjallarhorn rockets. That's absolutely insane. - Quodron is boring as hell. Recycled, annoying mechanic from VoG. Players don't want cheap auto-kill mechanics. They want mechanics that require interaction to damage the boss. For example, Killing key enemies so that players can damage nearby confluxes in the Arena to deal a set amount of damage to Quodron. Gjallarhorn no longer directly affects the boss, but can be still very helpful. This is a solution to "nerf" Gjallarhorn without "nerfing" it. - Variks sells the same stats across all armors each week, yet Vance diversifies his armors' stats on each char each week. WTF - Checkpoint on Lv 32 and Lv34 challenges at Round 3. Checkpoints on Lv35 challenge at Round 3 and 5. This requires players to still complete chunks in one sitting, but take a break half-way through. Players can't directly start at Skolas - they have to fight the Pilot first and Skolas at Round 5's CP. This is a win-win for both of us: we aren't forced to set aside 2-3 hrs in one sitting and you don't have us abuse the CP system as much. Changes for PvP: - Once a character has unlocked Mercury that week, they are entered in a separate pool of winning teams on that character. They have obtained the loot drop and have no reason to re-enter the original pool, but can continue playing on winning chars for drops and to hone their skill against true opponents. They can still play on other chars in their account in the first pool for a total of 3 flawless runs as usual. This still achieves the desired result of newer players getting a break, so to speak, and the "hardcore pvp pros" get endless runs against teams' whose skill WILL give them a run for their money. Everybody wins. - Crack down on your damn network issues. Too many weasels and baboons out there, Bungie. - Police players more prominently. You are at least starting on this one, so I understand it will take time. There are still many players out there abusing the system and ruining the experiences of other would-be champions every weekend. - Mercy is bypassed by network issues. This needs addressed immediately. - Bring Auto Rifles and Fusion Rifles back to their original numbers to combat hand cannon and shotgun abuse. Want to see less of Thorn? Then make Suros Regime, Plan C, Pocket Infinity, and even the newly-buffed Hard Light a legitimate threat in the Crucible once again. Again, I HIGHLY doubt Bungie will even pay this comment any attention, but the problems stated here are true. This would greatly help the DLC and the upset player base right now. Sorry for the word wall, but sometimes you just have to spit out the truth and there's no way to shorten it. EDIT: Per the request of many, I've reposted this in the Feedback forum. If we want to see these changes, let's be vocal about it. Spread the word and ignore the salty trolls that stand in our way! For those confused by my first sentence, I really could care less about Destiny (I'm trying not to), but I have a (perhaps foolish) hope that Destiny can rise above these petty problems and be a great game for any type of gamer. I really do like Destiny, and I want the best for it. I'm advocating on behalf of so many others in the hope that tensions between the PvE and PvP community can reach a consensus on fairness and equality in terms of reward/time investment. EDIT 2: As others have mentioned, putting Trials winners in a separate pool of winning teams would actually be a better move and I agree, actually. This still achieves the desired result of newer players getting a break, so to speak, and the "hardcore pvp pros" getting endless runs against teams whose skill WILL give them a run for their money. Everybody wins. I've updated my list to reflect this proposal - good job, community!
