What can stand against Thorn?
I'm getting really annoyed by this. Thorn has become equivalent of noob tubes and danger close in MW2. So what can? Because even a Red Death and its regen effects can't counter it fast enough.
EDIT: Figured I'd get a lot of trolls, but I guess I should have specified that the grief is when playing in Trials or IB. I still end up top of my team when playing multiplayer but Trials it varies between the team.

It's the net code, here are some examples. 1) I see target, target sees me and in the time I can only fire one shot from thorn he has fired 4 from his own thorn. 2) in a match I am firing 6 - 7 rounds with thorn to kill people but every gun on the other side will instant kill me. 3) thorn works really well if the PTP connection benefited you, for most like me it's a huge detractor. If they had dedicated servers this wouldn't be an issue.

Just stood against it in 2 matches and very happy about it... I used my Red Hand IX and the guy was obviously not that good at aiming and moving... And I'm not that good in pvp, still practicing...

1 RespuestaThe trick to fighting thorn is to either be far away or close to the thorn user. You can then use a shotgun if you are close, and a sniper if You are far. I've used thorn before, and I know that it is only fully effective at mid range.

I knocked out the 500 points for thorn last night with red death as my primary. I didn't find thorn to be that big of a deal.
