Where's the fun at? If you don't grind for the gear then you're gonna level up super fast and not be doing raids for gear. I loved playing through Crota on all my characters trying to get them to 32 and I loved it. The idea of farming for exp just sounds boring

Gear is still the focus- but you you want gear because of how they look and what they do, not because they raise your level high enough for your weapons to do damage (another thing I dislike)
