Yeah but they already have the 500million dollar funding and people don't need to get dlcs and sequels for a gally.

Regardless, the more people playing the game, the better the developers look, the more likely they are to keep their salaries and/or get increase in pay. Maybe even be considered to head up future games. If I open an amusement park, and it's constantly crowded, I'm more likely to be funded to open a second one.

All good points but at this point of the game there is a massive group of people with gallies that are still playing. Getting a gally isn't the endgame.

Very true. But all I hear in almost every raid I'm in is "Just want the Gally" I legit hear that 10 times more than anything else. I mentioned it's not the end game, just at the top of most people's wish lists.

I honestly hate those guys who only ask for gallies I try to avoid them all the time because in the raid they blame their deaths on everyone else and they are just generally annoying, trust me you are not missing out there.

But you can trust me on the fact that certain "special snowflakes", as some might call gjallarhorn owners, will quit. And even 5% of the players quitting means worse numbers for activision/bungie and less future DLC sold.

True. They would probably come back though because they don't play games for fun and need that grind.
