Thorn- op or over used?
What are your thoughts? I thinks its a little bit of both. Just my opinion though.
Edit- sorry wish i could put a "both" option. By the time i posted it, it was too late grr lol.
Edit- seems the main conserns are that it IS at the very least overused. And in someways overpowered
So far it seems to be the range and rate of fire that needs a slight nerf? Only b.c if you take DoT away than the thorn really wont be a thorn anymore...thoughts?
Edit- so what would be the communities thought on this nerf to the thorn
Leave the range, and rate of fire and reload speed as is. But lower the mag size to lets say 6. Would it make it more of a "pro" weapon? Where you would have to make your ahots count?

All it takes is 2 lightning quick & easy headshots, from even corner shooting or headglitching, and simply running off or keep hiding after that as they die afterwards. Even body shots are extremely effective THATS why its used by many. The bounty isn't hard, if u say it is; any gun is op against u

It's overused because bungie made it too easy to use. They buffed away its limiting stats

Overpowered stat-wise and over-used in end-game PvP Reduce the range by half and the fire rate by 33% Just my thoughts on it.

They nerf guns based on how many people use that type of weapon, which is extremely bad logic (borderline full retardation). So Handcannons [b]will[/b] be nerfed at some point in the near future. So all these kids overusing it are going to be the reason it gets nerfed.

The bleed or poison or whatever should not be able to kill you just keep shields from recharging and health from recharging. Maybe take you to 15%?

Is overused because it is overpowered. The only way that i see bungie creating a more balanced PvP experience is if they remove exotic weapons from PvP. But I'm pretty sure that that is not going to happen so :/

Hush little baby don't you cry, Thorn's gonna sing you a lullaby. Two straight shots to your head, to make sure you wind up stone-cold dead. And if that good ol' Thorn don't kill, Damage Over Time will make sure it will. Fusions and shotguns don't you fret, post mortem kills is what we'll get. And if you're still alive, be-ware. There's plenty more Thorns in the Garden out there.

It'd only hurt it in pve. I think the Dot dmg done to guardians should decrease and the dmg done to non guardians should increase. They should remove send it and replace it with Hand loaded and remove perfect balance and replace it with Fitted stock. Hawkmoon also needs to lose send it and get hand loaded instead.
