Sniping is all about understanding "traffic lanes". I recommend you start with control because the lanes are more constant with people running to objectives. You need to find a place were you can see that lane and wait. Crouch and hold still to take yourself off the minimap. Don't stay scoped in. Your snipers red dot is a dead giveaway, your peripheral vision is hampered, and you'll get shotgunned in the back of the face... a lot. After you get a few kills move to a spot were you can see the snipers perch you just left. I get a lot of kills shooting people trying to rush my first roost and get fusion rifely vengeance. Learn to use advantageous perks. Hunter and or the p&t invisibility can boost your survivability a lot. Chain of woe is useful. Final round let's several snipers kill with a single body shot. Ap rounds can shoot thru walls. Etc. Lastly. Have a back-up primary that can work at multiple ranges of engagement. Hand cannons like hawkmoon, thorn, Timur's Lash.
