How To Solve THORN in ToO [Solution]
Maybe have a rule where your teammates can't have any of the same weapons equipped as another teammate
Thoughts? Expand on this?
Edit: I actually love Thorn, just want everyone to stfu about nerfing it

Use the red death. Get a kill. Health regen cancels poison. You're welcome.

I have a tip. First press select/back (depending on console). Then hold down Y/Triangle. Finally relax. You have beaten the Thorn! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

6 RespuestasJust make it so the burn damage of thorn can't kill you. It'll get you down to One point of health, but it won't kill you. I feel that's pretty fair. But that's just me.

After getting destroyed by entire teams that used only thorn (and felwinters), I discovered that Bad Juju seems to be a great counter, at least for me. I went from hardly getting any kills and going 1-3, and the first set I used only bad juju I went 5-3 (we got lag switched on two of those losses). It might not work for everyone, this was just my experience

Hawkmoon will kill you faster than the dot on thorn. I have both, trust me. DOT is more of a gimmick than a strategy. Just a tip for killing thorn users, get up close and personal. Don't run away, because the tactic for kills with thorn is to headshot from far away and let the dot do the rest. A shotgun will destroy a thorn user before he can even get enough shots to kill you. 9/10 times when I die using thorn, it's because A. I get suros'ed to death, or B. The other player blasts me down with a shotgun and meelee. I'd be terrified of a team using all hawkmoons wayyy more than a team using thorns!! xD

No. How about you change how you play instead. I was just in crucible and guess what? I killed a guy carrying thorn 12 times to his one against me and I was using some random pulse rifle. Learn to play better. I bet you tried to rush him with a shotgun didn't you? Silly pleeb.

How about nothing because if you're good you'll beat them no matter what. My team went flawless easily - play to your strengths and to your opponents weakness. I'm sick of people complaining whenever shit doesn't go their way.
