It's a stupid ruling. Now he'll be remembered as a martyr, which is precisely what they wanted. They could've just gave him life behind bars and studied him for the remainder of his life, possibly helping preventing future cases such as this one. But American revenge strikes again.
English
-
He surrendered, cowardly He said he was impressionable teen. Weak Both of those ruined his martyr. He did what he did and doesn't care he wins ether way he finished his goal.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 6:48:51 AMTerrorists don't care about those little details. He's already caused enough damage to society and there's no reason to give the terrorists any more ground than they already have. And like I've said before, there are better uses to be had with him than to just off him for revenge.
-
He already got his goal whatever we do to him is a bonus. We should keep strict punishment for terrorists. Terrorism should know not to come here.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 7:04:41 AMSentencing him to death is a bonus to him, along with all of his terrorist buddies. They will wish to take after him to become martyrs themselves. Putting him to death isn't a deterrent in the slightest, it's quite the opposite actually. Scare tactics won't work against these type of people.
-
Nether does life in prison. They think what they are doing is fine and they have a divine right to do it.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 7:10:49 AMLife in prison isn't supposed to deter them from committing these crimes, it's a measure to take to make sure it doesn't become a catalyst, which is what the death penalty would cause. And as I've stated before, we can study his behaviours and motivations for the rest of his life while he's behind bars, something you can't do if he's dead.
-
He has to volunteer to be studied. What is the point for him to live?
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 7:26:40 PMThere are ways around the volunteer agreement, and people could coax him into it if they tried. They would continue to look into this case and have their way with him, to the full extent they possibly could. And that's another thing. In such extreme cases such as this one he shouldn't have a choice as to what happens to him regarding research. And as I've stated multiple times now, we don't need his death acting as a catalyst for the rest of the terrorists.
-
They already have their catalyst, us bombing the piss out of them.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 7:17:04 PMNow you're going off topic. I'm saying there is no reason to add another one, and it's best if we try our best to examine the behaviour of people like this, which will work towards helping solve the problem. Killing for revenge accomplishes absolutely nothing.
-
It's not for revenge it's justice.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 10:21:30 PMGiving them what they want isn't justice. Killing him isn't justice. Taking away their desires and possibly preventing future cases such as this is justice.
-
Good. I'm just sad he even got a trial. It would've been better if he had a few dozen rounds dumped in him instead of being arrested.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 3:42:45 AMThe Boston Bomber is a heinous individual, but sacrificing his life is not justice. Incarcerate him for life and study him and his motivations.
-
Or just kill him. Yeah, just kill him. His life has no value, and treating him like it does is insulting.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 4:06:17 AMDon't let emotions cloud your way of thinking. He's an awful human being but there are much better alternatives that can be done with him than simply killing him to satisfy your quench for blood. He doesn't deserve life but we must not let emotions and anger override logic. Let him be of use to us; that is the ultimate payback and revenge.
-
Its not anger, its a very logical calculation. He has no value, therefore his life is worthless. I refuse to give people of his caliber any validation other than ending their life.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 4:16:54 AMHis life does have value. He can still be of use outside of his own morality. No matter how bad a crime someone commits their are better ways of dealing with the problem rather than running away from it. You're not helping anyone by having him killed other than to just satisfy your want for him to be dead. Be productive with what you are left with, whatever that may be.
-
Editado por Britton: 5/19/2015 4:22:04 AMI think he'll be very productive as a target for a bullet. He doesn't deserve the money it costs to keep him alive.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 4:30:16 AMYou won't let go of your thirst of his blood to actually see or consider any other options. That much is clear from you. You're free to disagree if you wish. I've gave you my reasoning, you can choose to accept or deny it. Your hatred of him is too strong for anything else to get through to you.
-
Exactly. I embrace my violent side and understand its usefulness. When people are such a large detriment to society as this guy was, he has no reason to exist. Violence is a necessary part of keeping order.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 4:40:09 AMIf you wish to have that train of thought, sure. I find myself capable of coming up with better solutions to problems than to run away from them out of hatred and disgust. But do whatever you wish, I'm aware of your policy of handling things due to your thread on the very subject itself.
-
I'm aware of the alternatives, and can easily come up with many. However, I obviously think killing him quickly without any adieu is the best solution.
-
Editado por banned4ever lol: 5/19/2015 4:45:02 AMAnd that's fine, I just disagree.
-
You should have been there with him since you are a terrorist sympathizer.
