2 RespuestasThe change only affects special ammo when switching off of icebreaker, the "heavy ammo glitch" is a designed in game mechanic that isn't being changed. If they changed the ice breaker to count as still having ammo to stop people from using the mechanic they would just empty ammo and use ranged supers in the same manner.

Noobtard learn the game. It's the glitch where with full icebreaker ammo u change gear to another special and u got special ammo. Run outta special put ice on.. fill to 6.. repeat. Do it in pvp then u nvr worry about special ammo. Glitch is staying

The "heavy ammo glitch" is NOT patched. The patch makes it so you can no longer fill up 6 shots of an Ice Breaker then switch to say P&T and get 15 P&T shots. Essentially making ALL special weapons have unlimited ammo.

That will be disappointing for Nightfalls with the Juggler modifier and a non-Solar Burn.

Well you could do the heavy glitch with black hammer if you have a single round left in it and then use that last round and heavy glitch works but you have no ammo to kill things(I've tried this but it doesn't always work)

That's not the heavy ammo glitch, that the Icebreaker handing it's ammo to other guns when you swap Special weapons

I never liked the argument about waiting for Synth cooldowns as a reason to do the glitch. Most runs time up so that you don't have to wait. Say you pop a synth right before you start. You've got 7 rockets, in most situations. Unless you clear the rooms, blow all your rockets, and still fail to kill Crota in less than 5 minutes, your synths will have cooled down. And if you failed to kill him, most times, you'll have 2-3 rockets left over, which should be enough for the first sword, if your team has enough firepower. That is, unless you screwed up at the very end of the battle, in which case, your synths will have cooled down so you can use another one.
