Handcannons Breaking PvP
Thank you Xur for selling LAST WORD yet again to just drive home my point how much hand cannon spam is breaking the pvp experience of this game. And thank you Bungie for screwing weapon balance.
* Edit conclusion: So many salty TLW, Thorn & Hawkmoon scrubs complaining about my complaint. The assumption is that I am a child that is whining an see crying on forums and need to stop calling for nerfs. The fact is the kill feed I saturated with these exotics (note I have no complaints with legendary hand cannons). TLW massive fire rate massive damage (111) massive range yet its proponents declare it "takes skill". Thorn just saw a buff in 1.1.2 now with your screen showing even more green poision effects. And we all know how devastating Hawkmoon is. I speak the truth and the fact is these 3 weapons destroy every other weapon class and cannot be defeated by any auto or scout rifle and arguably trump any pulse. Please continue to speak on the forums of you want a game to play the way it should BALANCED GAMEPLAY NOT COD GAMEPLAY.

3 RespuestasWhen I use any of my hand cannons in PvP exotic or not it forces me to take more time in placing my shots due to the mag size. I tend to do better because of this. For example with pulse rifles I'm slamming the trigger just hoping enough hit quick enough to down someone and when I use thorn even before I had the mark of the devourer perk or whatever it's called I took the time to go for the precision shots. Hell I've done better with a hand cannon with a 4 shot mag in crucible than I do with some pulse rifles and that comes down to landing the precision hits. Better aim pays off.

First it was auto rifles, then fusions, then shotguns, now it's hand cannons. So I guess next it will be pulse rifles then scout rifles, then rinse and repeat. The weapons will get weaker and weaker and weaker until the only way to kill a guardian will be with a super or a heavy weapon (at which point there will be calls to nerf them too).

The reason these hand cannons are "op" is because the people who use them are actually decent. I prefer TLW because it fits my play style. Some games I'll use the Multi Tool and play even better. It's all about the user brother.

2 RespuestasI don't play much PvP and I'm not very good at it but I find it helps to not let your opponents hit you. You know, like when you're fighting an end game boss? It doesn't matter what they're packing, you don't die as often. Hey, be thankful there's not splash damage in the Crucible...

I seriously don't see the issue with those three guns. I'll sometimes play with mida, legendary weapons, juju, even nechrochasm and I never feel overpowered by people using exotic hand cannons.

They didn't use to destroy but because people complained auto rifles and shotguns and fusion rifles and everything else sucks now. So obviously people are going to use what works, as soon as hand cannons get nerfed pulse rifles will be good and you're going to make a thread saying I'm a scrub and I get killed by red death strangers rifle and bad juju nerf please

16 Respuestastlws massive range? lol what are you smoking kid. Plus it only hits 111 if you're hip firing and that is pretty challenging. Otherwise it's two head shots and a body shot or 4 body shots. As someone who has lots of experience with all 3 exotic hand cannons, I can confidently say that the only one that needs a nerf is hawkmoon, simply because of its range.
