Thank you Xur for selling LAST WORD yet again to just drive home my point how much hand cannon spam is breaking the pvp experience of this game. And thank you Bungie for screwing weapon balance.
* Edit conclusion: So many salty TLW, Thorn & Hawkmoon scrubs complaining about my complaint. The assumption is that I am a child that is whining an see crying on forums and need to stop calling for nerfs. The fact is the kill feed I saturated with these exotics (note I have no complaints with legendary hand cannons). TLW massive fire rate massive damage (111) massive range yet its proponents declare it "takes skill". Thorn just saw a buff in 1.1.2 now with your screen showing even more green poision effects. And we all know how devastating Hawkmoon is. I speak the truth and the fact is these 3 weapons destroy every other weapon class and cannot be defeated by any auto or scout rifle and arguably trump any pulse. Please continue to speak on the forums of you want a game to play the way it should BALANCED GAMEPLAY NOT COD GAMEPLAY.
*Edit for the edit...I rest my case:

Good gun play but u can hold ur own against the same load out. I think tlw is made for pvp

I get picked off from range by scout rifle users all day. Only reason you don't see the vex is because they f'd it all up with the last patch. If your in crucible and your not using a Hawkmoon, TLW, thorn, mida, suros, vex your putting yourself at a disadvantage. The suros has been sold atleast twice, along with TLW and mida. Vex is not that hard to get. Thorn bounty takes skill and is a common bounty to come across. The only one that is hard to get to drop is the Hawkmoon. There is NO reason not to be using one of these guns once you hit 20

Shotguns are ruling pvp
-
I'm about to crush pvp now..Just got me a hawkmoon
-
Shotguns are more annoying
-
So......just to let you know .......we need adversity to make us stronger...well those of us that can be stronger. With that thought in mind..........these guns make you work to become better, thus stronger......that, of course, if you are capable.
-
I would like to see a diminish in the role of hand cannons ( not making them useless ) and a rise in Autorifle usefulness.

1 RespuestaI thought about this the other day and I considered making a thread. But somewhat yes I'll agree. With these weapon dmg ranging from 73 (TLW) to 120 (Hawkmoon) these guns obviously are the hardest hitters in the game and the player not obstructed by the engagement with another player have a great higher chance of putting down another. I always thought that to compensate for this that if they raised the hp lvl to ~225 requiring at least 1 more (precision or body) shot. And so raised ARs back to their prior attack (hard hitting ARs back to 27 precision dmg) as well as scaled all other guns as to its performance - shotguns still one hit kill in close quarters, snipers are one hit kills at head shots etc, exotics still do its respectable dmg and kills within its time - then firefights can last a second longer which can mean a lot for engagements. The reason to scale all weapons up? Because no one likes the idea of scaling weapons down... This might just be some stupid idea. But I know where you're coming from. These days all I use are either Hand cannons or pulse rifles as they either deliver the most dmg in the shortest amount of time, or the most dmg with the greatest amount of forgiveness )if missing a shot). ARs are feather dusters and scout rifles (which I try to play with the most) not really sure.

2 RespuestasIf you think hand cannons are overpowered, then why don't you just use them?

-
Pvp is ok.

i still use suros (non xurned one). i tried handcannons after the buff but meh

5 Respuestas.....self terminate The second you say balanced gameplay, you need to die. The gameplay in destiny should NEVER be balanced,or else you'll never have a reason to progress. If you use red death you can easily counter thorn TLW etc. so,stop whining. If you add balance to destiny, you say "-blam!- rng, screw any reason to progress this blue is just as good as your exotic" exotics need to have the edge,or else why the hell would anyone try for one? At worst remove half the green from the thorn damage effect, fix TLW headshot hipfire glitch and leave hawkmoon as is because it's only a 40% at a two shot headshot and it kicks like a horse until you master it

Editado por OG Biggie: 4/23/2015 1:33:06 PMOmfg shut up about hand cannons being OP. There will ALWAYS be a dominant gun in crucible, this will never change. People complaining and crying for nerfs are just driving weapons into the ground. If it really bothers you so much, use them yourself... Seriously...
-
Just use it yourself? Or have skills enough to kill them first? Goooo Mida/ P&T and blam blam...
-
SHOW NO MERCY! I've been using handcanons since the beta, bud. That isn't about to change.

1 RespuestaYou lost your right to bitch ass soon as you equipped that invective.
-
The problem ia that after every nerf they do because People like you, there is another weapon type everyone uses more, then another group complains then another nerf... Will be always like this, until we have shit weapons... Keep it up, hope bungie stops nerfing weapons
-
It's more the fact that few other weapons can compete with them. Bring auto rifles back to strength and it could fix the problem

29 RespuestasSo let's say they buff auto rifles again. What skill does it take to mash down the trigger and spay away? Lol, hell, half of the pulse rifles are auto, just mash down right trigger! The only auto hand cannon is the last word but the range is not good. Hand cannon shots need to be well placed in order to be effective. A unskilled hand cannon user will usually die before landing the kill shot on a auto or pulse user. Learn how to strafe.

Nearly every primary is hand cannon since ammo nerf. Not only do they hold a lot of ammo but there isn't another primary that can outgun it if fired the same time at the same range of both Apart from when I use NLB and actually have snapshot on to aim before death
