I see what you mean about expecting anything more than a fifth grade understanding of things now. Plenty of people are of the opinion that the holocaust didn't happen. Guess what? Their opinion is wrong.
People can have the opinion the Holocaust didn't happen. That means they believe it didn't. You cannot prove that wrong. They believe it so it's their opinion.
Please understand what an opinion is.
Let me try to give an example.
It is my opinion that green is the best color.
It is another persons opinion that red is the best color.
Who is right and who is wrong? Neither.
Opinions are just opinions. They are neither right nor wrong. They're just what people think.

Wowhee, there is so much wrong with what you just typed lol
Wowhee, there is so much wrong with what you just typed lol
Elaborate, if you would be so kind. I want to hear why you think the known and vastly accepted definition of an Opinion is incorrect.

Your holocaust example, that can be proven wrong by a history book. If you have an opinion against something that has been proven by numerous experts (and deaths in this case) that makes the opinion wrong. A better example you couldve have used is religion. Someone can think Jesus rose, but it cant be proven right or wrong at this time. An opinion can't be wrong if it can't be proven wrong. So in a way you are right and wrong at the same time. Editado por X EARTH W0LF X: 4/18/2015 2:30:04 PMIt was not my example. He used it and I simply showed him. If someone believes it didn't happen, that's their opinion. You cannot prove that they don't believe that. You also cannot prove they do. Opinions cannot be right or wrong.

Agree to disagree

Just wanna day one thing, Opinion: a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Taken straight from google definition. Just what someone thinks. Doesn't have to even be supported by fact or anything really. It's just what you think.
-
No. You couldn't be more wrong. Not believing the holocaust happened is an opinion. The proof is in the six million dead in concentration camps. You don't know what an opinion is. You're getting confused with an opinion, and a preference.

It's the part your confused about, not me. It doesn't matter what I say, because your opinion, which is wrong, is that opinions can't be wrong. You're a total idiot.
