So I thought we should give them some real stats about our community and the people who still play destiny.
As people are saying what about the casuals and such. ask yourself this how many casuals still play the game? my friends list used to be pages full of people playing now im lucky to see 5/6 online still playing and these are the hardcore players. we are the only ones left gaudians

3 RespuestasThis isn't the right place to gather this data. Obviously people who are active in the community are going to be more likely to complete a community related event like a raid. Believe it or not there are a lot of players who don't use this or other Destiny forums. Your results are biased, and for that reason...
muted
Only 19% of destiny's players have completed a raid.
-
Not only have I never completed a raid, I have never really started a raid. I have technically started them, but all I did was look around the opening areas solo. We are on a Destiny message board, which is of course going to be mostly populated by people who are very into Destiny. I would expect that most people here have raided. The reason I have not, even though I *am* very into the game, is that I didn't buy the game until after Christmas, and learned on my own the slow way the first couple months of this year. I didn't hit level 20 until probably February and I just went over level 30 a few weeks ago. I am just now at a point where I have two level 31 characters, so I'm only now starting to think seriously about raiding. In Halo (at least most versions), everyone was the same Master Chief (or perhaps Arbiter) with only cosmetic customization, everyone spawned with the same weapons and had the same opportunity to pick up other weapons. The only difference between the best player and the worst player was the skill of the person holding the controller. Vs Destiny - I finally got to Crota's Bane level 3, so I was able to buy a ruined core and finish upgrading my Murmur that I've had unlocked in terms of experience for two months (one example of many of the byzantine economy of this game). You think less about actually playing the game, more about how to get a bunch of helium filaments or shards or vanguard marks or faction rank or whatever you need at the time. I don't think Bungie understood that by making a game with this many options, where you have to grind for hundreds of hours to get the best equipment, they were creating a game that drives away casual players. I think it's hard to balance being fair to super dedicated players, who do deserve something extra, while at the same time not making the game seem like a waste of time to someone who wants to play a few hours every two weeks, and that is a formula that I don't think Bungie has figured out at all.

Haha nope. -blam!- rading

2 RespuestasWith or without cheese?

2 RespuestasThis will not be a real stay only the more dedicated players are on the forums. Casuals won't bother coming on here. The actual statistics can be found on the console, at least on ps4 where it tracks how many people play destiny on the console and how many people have received the trophy for completing it. It's under 20%.
-
2 RespuestasNo •_• I have no mic and no destiny friends
-
2 RespuestasThe forums don't represent the majority of players, in fact it's the opposite.
-
This forum represents a very small fraction of the community as a whole. This poll proves nothing.
-
What's Raid?
-
I've soloed Crota a few times
-
4 RespuestasThis poll will mean nothing. Just like the people who say only some low percentage of people have completed a raid. According to psn trophies, only 94.7% of players have finished the quest "rebuild a jumpship". The second mission in the game. Meaning 5.3% of all players haven't even really played. Which skews all other trophy percentages. And none of those actually look at active players. So saying that 10-15% of players have completed a raid isn't actually as bad as you think. Just my take on it.
-
5 RespuestasThis is not a good representation. A majority of the playerbase has never been on these forums, only the hardcore players are on here.
-
2 RespuestasApparently tons of casuals play the game since 80% do not bother with killing Atheon nor Crota.
-
4 RespuestasBungie's mistake was make this game casuals oriented. Casuals player don't get all game's dlc
-
3 RespuestasSo here's the deal; FACT: less than 20% of Destiny players have completed a raid. FACT: more than 20% of Destiny players on this forum have completed the raid. So much so that if you scroll through people's profiles, many and most will have at least one 32 in their mix. My assumption would be over 50% of people on this forum have completed a raid and would answer your poll with a YES. However your poll is going to be inaccurate because the people answering the poll are a minority among the majority. I would wager most gamers don't even step foot in this forum.

The problem with that data from PlayStation trophies is that it accounts anyone whoever openned the game. If you wanna take that info seriously.. Okay.. According to PSN: -On average only 16% of the players fully upgraded a subclass -Only 19% of the players ever fully upgraded a legendary weapon. -Only 60% of the players ever completed an assault, this means 40% of the players didnt even complete "the devils lair strike". The same ammount of players havent revived teammates 5 times yet.. -5% of the players didnt complete the first story mission -50% of players obtained less than 25 engrams -On average, only 20% of players have archieved the 100 marks cap on either crucible or vanguard -25% of the players didnt even unlock a second grenade option!!! You really think that this info describes the destiny active community? " This is a repost, you may copy/paste if you want to"

Don't think a poll like that works well here. The forums are a niche population. Most people on here are well immersed in the game. There are plenty more that just play casually. I've got one friend online, he didn't even know who xur was until I pointed him out one day. He's perfectly happy playing the game doing vanguard strikes and crucible. He certainly wouldn't use forums and there are tons more just like him, I imagine.
-
2 RespuestasI'd assume most players who don't do raids don't use these forums either. Only reason I started using this forum was to find raid groups

-
2 RespuestasYes, I'm pleased to say that I have completed exactly ONE raid
-
TIL: OP did not take statistics in school.
-
1 RespuestaPolls in this medium are pointless. It is selective sampling and in no way indicative of the true total population.
-
4 RespuestasThis poll will be artificially inflated. People on the forums are bigger fans of the game, spend more time reading about it, and most likely raid. The best measure is to see how many people have the "raider" trophy.
-
So I thought we should give them some real stats about our community and the people who still play destiny.
I admire the effort but there's no way this is better than bungies own analytics
-
Everyone should know that the people who use this forum aren't a good measure of the community as a whole. If you are into Destiny a lot, you probably raid and you are also probably on these forums. If you are mostly casual it's likely you don't raid and probably also don't use this site.
