Bungie is not competent. Destiny is died anymore

I've been through 2 clan rosters, and I'm still going, where one group quits, another, newer group replaces them. I have every item in the game and still raid each week for the fun of it. People who are unhappy, or who have overplayed need to take a break or quit. Believe it or not, this will benefit the game, because all that will be left are those that "get it". For instance, my characters are not just arbitrarily "32", I have actually obtained drops with optimal stat rolls and leveled them, putting them together with appropriate Exotics and weapons to create some wicked character builds. I survive, I play well and lead new players to victory. I am, in a sense, "Legendary" and those that play with me know this, as well as know that I am active in helping build their legend as well.

Wow. Lots of doom and gloom here. 1) people have played the shit out of this game already. The servers could shut down right now and 99% of folks would have their money's worth several times over. 2) I don't think bungie ever meant for people to play 4 hours a day, every day, for several months. It's IMPOSSIBLE for any new IP to have enough content at launch to satiate that appetite. It's never happened and it probably never will. Look - I've been critical of them. It's obvious this game was rushed. Crucible is laggy. The MMO elements are kind of poorly designed (the leveling especially and the loot a little). Levels 1-20 are, in many ways, better than 20+. There is no coherent story. Blah blah. That being said, this game has quite a bit going for it as a new IP. I'm really looking forward to the sequel. Bungie has learned quite a bit. Bloodborne has taken a temporary bite out of Destiny. But CoD:AW has come and gone. BF: Hardline has come and is almost gone. Borderlands has come and gone. Evolve has come and flopped. Each time, Destiny temporary dips a bit.... and then everyone comes back. The upcoming update has serious crucible changes. HoW is coming. Later this year is the full expansion. Destiny is battered - not beaten.

4 weeks sober. I miss it to an extent but the repetition and endless grinding can only go on for so long #goodwhileitlasted

Most of my friends have moved on, a lot less people playing than 2 months ago

It will blow up when DLC comes out again. I had 15 people on last night which is unfortunately the high point over the last month

I use to have 2-3 pages of friends playing at all times. Now the roster is a max of like 6 players.

The zoo has been off the chain again recently. Really that is what is pissing me off at this game. I can go months with no problems. Then like this weekend constant baboon, bee, hare, groundhog, centipede, fig, nightingale. -blam!-ing ridiculous.

There was a time when you would go to any planet, and it would be full of people! Now you're lucky if you run into 1 or 2 people. You'll be doing a public event and just looking around trying to figure out where the rest of the guardians are. It never used to be that way

Most disappointing game I've ever purchased. I quit playing months ago but I'll hang around the forums till HoW since I paid for it.

Destiny still had 400 streamers this afternoon on Playstation. Granted, 800 people were streaming Bloodborne, and AW was around 550...so it's not dead, but I think it is fading--it should be interesting to see what they do with HOW and the comet expansion to try and bring people back. I only do nightfalls and weeklies now, I consider doing Atheon and Gorgons chest for the exotic "chance" but the chance feels so slim that it's not worth it to find people to play it with anymore (I refuse to pay for DLC so no crota). If an in-game LFG system was present maybe I would do it, but they really hurt themselves with that blunder, not to mention making themselves look like even bigger tools by saying that's the way they wanted it, when everyone with with half a brain knows it was either laziness or the game being rushed out that there is no in-game LFG system... Friday I popped it in, bought some heavy ammo synths and the Titan exotic chest piece, and then popped Borderlands back in. There is so much to do in BL2 it is complete insanity, especially when compared to Destiny's sheer lack of content, and I haven't even started pre sequel yet. And honestly, with the way they've treated this game and the people who bought it, this game deserves to die. From strong arming people into buying sub par DLC, to complete BS weekly updates where they talk about adding something as completely basic and simple as Audio controls as if they're buying everyone a Ferrari, artificially lengthening playtime with BS currency and upgrade systems so their numbers look better, completely lying about Xur being RNG, fixing cheeses within a couple days but letting glaring issues that make the game unnecessarily more difficult linger for months and months, server issues and disconnects galore ...the list goes on. It deserves to die.
