Over 1000 active hours played (doesn't include any hours in orbit or not doing anything), and STILL no Hawkmoon! Meanwhile, I see this all over the Crucible, and people with only a few hundred active hours or less with one. How is this fair? I paid the same amount of money for the game as they did, but I am experiencing less content.
After 1000 hours, shouldn't I just be GIVEN a Hawkmoon at this point? I mean come on, this is ridiculous.

Editado por Shiloh Ivy: 4/14/2015 3:09:43 AMWell a reasonable person would conclude that Hawkmoon's number wasn't pulled from the RNG system at the end of any of your nightfalls or raids. That's what a reasonable person would conclude. Secondly, the system Bungie has in place wasn't meant to be fair, luck isn't fair. So a reasonable person wouldn't use their hours as an argument as to why they should be given Hawkmoon. (Didn't you think you sound like a child when typing that?) As one person put it:
I've been alive for 23 years and never had a threesome. Some people are barely 16 and have had multiple! I guess at this point, women should practically throw their pelvises onto me!
And I like this one:
Let me tell you how RNG works. You sit down, you shut up, you take a -blam!-ing number and wait your turn to get whatever weapon you are bitching about!
Both authors are spot on with their points. In conclusion, I'll end it with one last quote.
Less whining, more grinding.
Edit: While you do have 1k hours you have 52 raid completions. Which is the main way of getting exotics. I have around 400 hours with 10% more than you. So that doesn't speak well to your argument. I think this quote is worth posting again.
Less whining, more grinding.
Number of hours played means absolutely nothing in a game where the loot system is random.
-
You paid the money to enjoy a videogame. Enjoy the fúcking video game.
-
Yeah i'm with ya there seems like the only people who have the Hawkmoon are lvl 26 or something.
-
Same here no hawkmoon
-
How does any reasonable person get upset about a computer game item? Oh right they don't.

1 RespuestaBecause a reasonable person waits to see what they actually get before they rage.
-
You probably have weapons others have played the same 1000 hours for, but haven't able to get. You aren't alone.

1 RespuestaI must've played for at least 500 hours now. I still don't have Patience and Time, and I watched a guy get the Crux of Crota on his second go on the Hard raid when he didn't even have Eidolon Ally. Does that mean that the game should give one to me? Hell no! I've gotten 4 Icebreakers (one of which was purchased), 3 Thunderlords, 3 SUROS Regimes, 3 Universal Remotes, 2 Gjallarhorns, 2 Red Deaths (though I bought one of those), The Last Word, NLB (which sucks, but hey, it's exotic and I like collecting), Plan C, Dragon's Breath (which ain't really that bad), Hard Light, Truth, the Mythoclast, MIDA Multi-Tool, and every bounty Exotic at least once. I've also gotten enough materials and the right armor to be level 32 on each character, no matter what Exotic I decide to use. (Sorry if I come across as a braggart, by the way. Hope you guys out there get all that stuff if you don't already have it!) Just think about what other Exotics you've gotten before you go around, bitching about how you don't have one stinking hand cannon. I might feel sorry for you if you haven't gotten that many, but if you're just gonna bitch, you'll get no sympathy from me.

Im in the same boat. 3 gallys, 3 thunderlords, multiples of every other exotic and still NO hawk moon :( today was doing a roc strike and at rewards screen i yelled come on hawkmoon!! And then the other guy got it. I was actually surprised since i didnt see it in the game. Then was doing the NF the other day and once we killed Valuus i said please give me hawkmooooon. Then, the other guy once again got it :( lol im never gunna get it.

1 RespuestaMy father-in-law has bought a lottery ticket every week for the last 20+ years...still hasn't won...
-
59 RespuestasMan I've been alive for 22 years and haven't had a threesome....some people arent even 16 and have threesomes. After 22 years shouldn't two women just THROW their pelvises at me?
-
Every single person on Xbox feels the same way .
-
1 RespuestaThat is why a loot game can never say "Earned" It is just random. For more than 300000 hours living on Earth I still not getting lottery. Meanwhile I see there a lot of people getting it every week. HOW IS THIS FAIR!!!!
-
Please. Unrustle your jimmies. Be greatful for the exotics you have.
-
That's why it's called Random Number Generator.
Emphasis on the word random.
Day one player here as well. No hawkmoon. :-(
-
This, still no drop
-
I honestly clicked on your profile just to be sure you were on PSN. Just to be sure, LOL.
-
And after 1000 hours of gameplay......you finalize realize you've been playing on xbox one and not ps4
-
This is one of the reasons why Exotics shouldn't be dropped or bought. To get that Exotic that you really want you should have to go through a huge quest/bounty, something that really made you PLAY to get, made you DESERVE it. Not this stupid RNG that rewards nothing and even less this notion of yours "I played X amount of time, therefore I deserve something because I want"
-
And you are on playstation right?
-
Thats why I have been taking a break from this game. Im only missing three exotics now, and I feel like Im wasting my time when I could be playing other games that I enjoy.
-
Any reasonable person would be playing for fun, not exclusively to get a certain item in a game. Also, a reasonable person wouldn't get upset at a game in general.

Editado por Barbatos: 4/13/2015 1:55:28 AMJust don't think about it. I'm a day 1 player and wanted Gjally and Thunderlord since before launch. I don't bother doing an activity in the hopes of getting them. I'll be happy if I do get them but I won't be upset if I don't
