I would assume that people who are 32, at least know how to use the Sword on normal, in Crota's End. I would assume that 32's running the Vault of Glass, would know how to use the Relic, at least half-decently.
I've joined, and have been joined by, 32's that have been carried through Crota's End Normal and Hard, that don't know how to use the Relic in both raids, that don't know which weapons to use and not to use. People that can't choose the right loadout for the right situation.
I just find it really funny, how a lot of people that are 32, don't know the mechanics of the raids, and have been carried through them numerous times.

I know relic but not the sword. No one ever lets me learn how to do it even though I have a crota cp
-
Why should a32 automatically know how to do either? With 6 people in raid it's not like everyone says, hey lets let's let everyone on team take time To learn relic?? Most just want it over with
-
I more or less just expect them to not suck. When it come to the sword, if they don't know how to use it that's fine, if they want to practice with it also fine since practicing with the sword is much more forgiving than with the relic. If they don't know how and don't want to, I or someone else can do it (I've noticed since I learned to run sword, I seem to get in more groups with other people that know how to run sword). As for the relic, well, I understand if no one's let them practice before but it seems easy enough to pick up on. (I, as a 32, usually do not run Relic but when teleported alongside two people who have no idea how to do so I can pick it up and use it without anything disastrous happening).

6 RespuestasI see a 32. I practice the something I call WHAM Look at Gear (What setup of Exotic are they working with?) Look at Grimoire (How much do they play this game?) Look at weapons. (Are they using their best weapons?) Look for Party Chat (Microphone?)
-
if they don't know how to use a relic its because no one has had the patience to let them practice with it how many of these raids have you joined and said lets spend 10 mins letting people practice with the relic after finding out no one knows how to use it I,m guessing none
-
If they have glowhoo worn or the mark of the cheeser(CE emblem) i dont expect much
-
Expect everybody to be really dumb and every now and then youll have a pleasamt surprise
-
T ou know what you do when you assume
-
Got the shield but not the sword Ohmahgawd I just realized it's a shield and a sword!
-
I have all 3 characters at level 32 and I have always been confident in running the relic even before I got one 32, I have successfully run sword at least once in each character on Normal and I have run sword twice on hard with my Hunter.
-
Just because someone is lvl 32 doesn't mean they have a grasp of the game. Just because someone is older, doesn't mean they're wise. Just because someone is educated, doesn't mean they're smart. If and/or when you come across a character be it lvl 32 or 1 and they don't know what's going on, take the time to explain. And if you feel it's not your place to explain, I believe you have no right to complain.

32 today is meaningless. You can get people to carry you through normal Crota for a few weeks and get enough gear and shards to hit 32 without lifting a damn finger. I even have friends who are very experienced in VOG and CE who "don't know how to run sword" for the simple fact that they've never had to or have never really wanted to try. Either that or they never had an opportunity to practice (i.e., teammates were unwilling to allow them time to practice and wipe several times until they got comfortable using sword). The ability to be a sword bearer against Crota is completely unnecessary for most players since only 1 person out of a group of 4-6 need to be able to the do it. It's just not an essential skill. Holding relic in VOG is much more crucial as players are randomly teleported in the Atheon encounter. If you don't have at least 4 competent relic-holders, you risk having an unlucky teleport lead to a wipe. Also against Templar, if relic holder dies and cannot self-rez, you need another player to step in or else you have to wipe. Personally, I love doing both and have had plenty of practice with each. It's much more fun and a nice change of pace from the normal gunplay in both raids. I expect all 32's that I play with to be willing to learn sword and relic, but I don't anticipate random 32s to have any experience with either because at this point in the game, you can easily hit 32 without having to do either.

3 RespuestasI'd hope that the 32s aren't me and actually know what they're doing. I've only ever completed VoG normal. >.>
-
7 RespuestasYou could score raid gear on your first run of CE hypothetically, so your assumption that a 32 knows more is kind of void.
-
4 RespuestasStarting to see too many 32s in VOG normal asking if we are going to wipe for the oracles.
-
4 RespuestasOnce met a 32. We were at an atheon cp. He teleported. I told him to shoot the oracles. He didn't know what they were. So we explained after the wipe. He then picked up the relic. Didn't know how to cleanse. We told him rb (on 360) he just started jumping. Apparently he was on bumper jumper. OK we told him it's the grenade button. He kept saying that it wasn't working. Apparently he had no idea which was the grenade button. A 32 doesn't know what button is grenade? I'm sorry to say, but he was immediately booted lol.

Level means nothing to me anymore. When people brag about them being 32, I leave the group because it usually signals they have no clue what they are doing. The good 32's just go along with the run and offer helpful advice if asked. I ran relic on my first VoG run and it is the most fun thing to do. Took me awhile to run sword in CE, but now I enjoy doing it because I know it will get done. Also the plus to being able to do both is you can eliminate that awkward silence when someone asks "who can run relic?"

6 RespuestasAs a 32 I really get pissed off when other fellow 32s say their good, but die out of stupid reasons honestly if you are a 32 and refuse the pic up a relic then shame

not to die, to know how and when to generate orbs, to know the strategy, and to have heavy synths out the A

Assume All 32s can run Sword on Crota Assume All 30s at the very least know the VoG fights. Even 30s before Crota's End majority of the time don't know how to use relics. Assume All players are smart enough to play it safe during a hard raid. No Rambo 1v25 when everyone is still alive please.
unless you are the Italian stallion himself.
-
I expect a level 32 not to die at the beginning of the crota cp. I also expect a 32 to know how to use the relic on Atheon. I'm not picky.
-
2 RespuestasNothing. You can get to 32 without ever doing a raid if you have iron banner gear. If you see a level 32 with a full raid set and maxed out raid weapons and a gjallarhorn, you expect him to know how to handle himself.
