I've got a few weapons I've got multiples of and a few others I would like another one of. Mostly this is due to laziness as even with item switching in the app it's handy to be able to use any character knowing they've at least got weapons to allow you to do most things - even if you need to swap for a specific item on occasion. However, I just had a thought which could be a very good reason for saving multiples of some weapons. When Destiny 2 comes out most of us expect to be able to carry out weapons and items over to it. But what if doing so takes them out of Destiny 1? That's effectively make running the old raids whenever you want a bit trickier. There are ways Bungie could avoid this but for now I think I'll save up some copies. Edit: typos
