Most of you probably don't know who I am (or my original account for that matter) but if you do, you probably remember me as the poor sap who got permabanned by deej for posting in the wrong forum after a ninja moved my thread in said incorrect forum. Yep, you read that right. It's come to my realization that after being on this website a solid 5 years (don't let my join date fool you) ever since I was a young grasshopper enriched in the story of Halo, Bungie has gone down the wrong path. This used to be an awesome, thriving community and now it's nothing. Bungie has done everything that I never would have imagined they would do. They ruined the website, gave a middle finger to the old fans while shepherding the desticles in, fired the best goddamn video game composer I've ever heard and tried to sweep it under the rug like it was a "friendly affair". DeeJ went from being a prick to being the biggest joke of a community manager I've ever seen. (Seriously though why does this jackass still have a job?) Leaving Microsoft may have been Bungie's "liberation" but signing with Activision was their death sentence in my eyes. All this aside, the least they could have done was go and make the game that they advertised it to be. The game with a plot "comparable to Lord of the rings and game of thrones". I could bash their game all damn day but I don't have the time nor character space, and this isn't the place for that. The moderation is what really gets me. It's funny because we all used to complain about how harsh the mods were. Now, it seems as though desticles have special treatment. The entire #Gaming forum is destroyed, and nobody on Bungie's side seems to want to do anything about it. - - - - - - - - So I don't expect any of you to remember me, or care that I'm leaving. The point of this post is to tell you [i][b]why[/b][/i], and hopefully Bungie sees this. This is a message to Bungie, no one in particular. You've treated your community like shit recently. You've successfully killed off what was once a hustling bustling gaming community. What do you have now to show for your work? [i]wot clase u gon plei?[/i] threads? And this is a message for DeeJ. My best description for you is dog feces beneath my shoe. You're a joke. You're the puppet master behind all of this mess going on, and that's all you are or ever will be. You have no real job or purpose. Your title as Community Manager is so incredibly false it brings me to laughter just thinking about it. You are a walking, talking Destiny advertisement with no real personality, class, or character. I really can't wait until you're gone from this company that I once loved. And with that, I bid you farewell. No more trolling destiny forums. No more #Gaming policing. No more offtopic rambling. I might lurk around a bit before borderlands tps and mcc comes out, but after that I think I'll give up on this website entirely.
