So over the course of this past weekend I was trying to get my raids and weeklys done; however, it became an exhausting experience trying to link up with some people that would except a then, lvl 29. *mind you I took a 3 month break from this game back in november so I'm "behind" as far as gear goes*
It was so crazy to me that these nerds seriously felt they were above me just because they have spent more time on this game than I have. It blew me away because let's be honest, PVE does not require talent in this game. PVE performance in this game is based solely on which guns you have and how much time you dedicate to the grind.
I couldn't possibly care less how many times you have beaten the raid or how many yellow colored squares you have in your vault because all that says to me is that you got lucky through RNG and you managed to overcome a bunch of thoughtless bots.
So am I a PVP elitist? You bet. Am I the best PVP player? Nope, but I'm a very good one.
I have above a 2.0 in every playlist and I play solo, not to mention I'm placed with a full fireteam of idiots every match. I don't have any OP PVP weapons because I have crap RNG luck.
So what I'm getting at is that you PVE elitists aren't anything special. I'm not impressed. Meet me in The crucible because if anything in this game requires a lick of skill it is the crucible/IB. Why? Because you're going head to head with other human beings, you know, other people with minds that can think for themself? Yeah, not some dumbed down bullet sponge of a bot, a human being. So go ahead and act condescending while you're in a fireteam full of nerds because chances are you guys get your asses kicked in PVP matchmaking.
If you're a 32 and there are 30's and 31's looking to do crotas or vault on hard help them out. Are you afraid? Are you not sure of yourself? Exactly.
And remember, I'm not impressed.
Edit: read the title. I'm talking about ELITISTS not every 32.
Edit:yes I have thorn, I got it on 3/29/15 hence why it isn't upgraded AT ALL.

I totally agree I just got to 32 and it has never crossed my mind to leave someone out of a raid because of their level, especially when I can solo most of the raid anyway
