It doesn't stop with Suros Regime either. Suros, compared to most guns, is a very mediocre weapon. Definitely not worth your exotic slot. But the other ARs are completely worthless. Without a burn on, there is zero reason to use one. I can clear a room of minions with a single clip from a hand cannon, pulse rifle, or scout rifle, but with an AR it is one clip per enemy.

Why should Auto Rifles do more damage than a pulse rifle, scout rifle or a hand cannon? Auto rifles take the LEAST skill to use of any primary weapon class, however they do the most damage on non precision shots. Risk equals reward, when you miss a couple shots with an auto rifle you are generally ok, miss a couple shots with a hand cannon or scout rifle and your dead. This is why auto rifles are exactly where they need to be.

When I engage a group of enemies I do not kill the one with Suros just because I like his sense of humor. The weapon became a joke after the last auto-rifle nerf.

Use the bottom half like a smart person

If I'm against a really bad team like people doing thorn bounty or whatever I'll throw on my iron banner gauntlets with increase auto rifle reload and ill whip out my suros. Feels great to use it sometimes although it takes a while to get a kill let alone multi kills. I would never think to use it against a decent team, only really bad ones
