Get over yourself. There's no elitism going on. People just have preferences and if you don't fit their criteria then quit being a B!TCH about it and find a different group who will take you. There's supposedly tons of players playing this game. Shouldn't be too hard to LFG some randies and get your game on.

Just read the forums dude there is definitely elitism going on, people think they are better than someone else just because they have no life and do nothing but play destiny, it's getting out of control, I just like 3 days ago got into an argument with some elitest bastard on the forums, after I posted some true sh!t on the forums

I have school and I work 30+ hours a week. I have barely enough free time to play destiny. Does the fact that it therefore makes up a vast majority of my freetime make me elitist scum?

No bro you just have a good head on your shoulders for being productive. To be an elitist asshole/asshat you have to exclude people because they don't have a certain item, or you think you earn all your gear and others get it handed to them, etc
