I would personally enjoy crucible 500% more if the Last Word was nerfed, it is the only gun that ever can stop me from winning on rumble and I cannot stand when people use it. It has too high of a rate of fire and from that last update where its range was decreased, it didn't change much at all, everything i use is outdone by it, I have it but I have too much honor to use it online. People have taken me out with it faster than I can shoot a rocket at them or even kill them with my machine gun, I think it is ridiculous, I have played with multiple people who can go a 23-4 Rumble with the Last Word and then the next game in the same lobby use any other gun and go negative. Edit: I would compare it to the MP40 in World at War, overpowered at any range. I usually use Red Death as my primary and pretty much any range that i dont have to try really hard to control my burst, like more sniper range, the Last Word beats be out, I am not a bad player at all, what happened to the good ol shotty sniper days of Halo 3? Everyone would rather camp back with a 3 hit rapid fire hand cannon than run around having fun with a shotgun? Edit 2: I am currently in an Iron Banner game, and I am losing. At least 5 of the the players on the enemy team are using The Last Word and at least 4 of my teammates have left already and we're only halfway through. The Last Word is the most overpowered gun in the game Edit 3: just played a game of iron banner, went 25 and 12 with oversoul edict and swordbreaker, mvp on other team was 31 and 13 with the last word, he outgunned my deviant gravity-a not once but twice with the last word, two or three shot kill on me Edit 4: the more i play crucible and see these replies makes me think that everyone who replied to this uses the last word and is defending it because they dont want to feel like theyre only getting kill because its the most op gun in the game, i just won a game 20k to 3.5k and i was on a pretty good kill streak and guess what a bunch of the other team pulled out and ended my kill streak and got a few points back? The one and only most overpowered gun in the game: the last word Edit 5: Just played rumble, got 2nd to a hunter using blink strike and a last word and he was teabagging every kill he got, lol the honorable Last Word user. You'd think that me getting the heat ammo would put me ahead but hell no he's got a last word. Update: Ive played maybe 7 games so far today and each one I've lost its been to a last word user. Edit 6: i think 50% of the posts here have said that its a superior 1v1 weapon and thats what its supposed to be. -.- so is everything else supposed to be a 2v1 gun? Is that why tlw is overpowered is because youre only supposed to kill one person with it at once? That makes no sense at all, no primary is specifically meant for more than 1v1
