Who else votes NO on new Vault space??
I personally, for several reasons do not want the addition of vault space! Among other things, I feel like gun hoarding every purple and exotic you come across can make the game feel like a trophy hunt. I think that with the way the space is now, it forces us more veteran players to make tough choices on what is worth keeping around. Now this seems to be a really unpopular idea, as everyone seems to demand vault space, but is there anyone out there that agrees with me?
Edit: So far the opposition is huge! I was expecting something like this but you guys sure feel strongly about this!
Edit2: The overwhelming consensus is that I am really really wrong on this. I appreciate the comments, and if the added space will improve some people's gaming then I can't be mad about it!

Mainly it's not for armor or weapon space, but space for all my mats and shaders. Your reason for not wanting vault space just sounds like a self righteous crusade to be different than everyone else. The logic behind it is beyond short sighted. Force players to break down weapons and gear in order to challenge ourselves? In turn creating more unused mats that take up space. Destiny's loot system is not generous, a smart VETERAN player would keep everything worth keeping, and that list isn't a short one if you have 3 different toons.

The weapons we receive are memories. Each is earned in a unique way, and when we spend so much time and effort in this game, they are our trophies. Just try to imagine having to burn all of your family photographs except for a couple.. there's no reason they shouldn't be kept. We deserve a lot more space so we can hold on to all of our items.

I just want to be able to store my exotics. All of them. Not just the guns but the armor as well. Plus the guns I use regularly and the ones you can't find anymore. Sad thing is I regularly use all my legendaries I have and the exotics I don't use I'm definitely not dismantling them because well, they're exotics.

It's not to make the game a trophy hunt, it's to hold on to a larger variety of weapons with differing perks to give you more flexibility in how you want to play at any given time.

Also, I want a gun for every scenario. Different weapons for different burns, VoG weapons for oracles and CE weapons for Hive Disruptor and HoW weapons for whatever they give (yes, I still plan on playing on 3 when HoW comes out), plus I do like to collect just the exotics.

I thought the game already was a trophy hunt? Collect all the exotics and raid gear. After that, there's not really a goal to it at the moment, besides having fun of course. :P

While I understand your premise, I really hope they add more space. I hope that one day the game will gain transmogrification (ability to make weapons and gear look like other item sets in your inventory). If/when this day comes it will be fundamental to have a lot of bag space and to have collected the older item sets which will then be unobtainable.
