Unfortunately the gaming community has its moments of cancerous people. This thread is testament that not all gamers are horrible jerks. Many of us want to help one another. I for one have no problem taking like minded, pleasant individuals even if they arent "elite" to any encounter. You spend hours with people...may as well spend those hours with cool peeps. Ive made some good friends from running with strangers. To me, the social aspect is as important as smashing content...lets face it, destiny isnt that difficult. At times its often the one behind the controller/microphone thats making it so. Happy hunting.
