What if Xur did this:
Visited the tower every weekend as per usual, but brought two armour pieces per class and three weapons every time. Also, items now cost around the 30-50 coin range.
Good or bad?
Edit; prices obviously up for debate, but the point being that you get higher chance each week to get a possible item you want, but the cost is increased to make it a tougher choice what to spend them on.
Edit; take in to account the higher chance to get what you want due to more items each week.
Edit: edited price from insanely high to a more reasonable 30-50 based on reasonable feedback.

1 RespuestaLol I stopped at 200 coins, just because this is the only game you play and have 3 characters doesn't mean everyone else has 3 characters for 27 coins a week. You need to look at the bigger picture and scale it to 1 character people and 9 coins per week

3 RespuestasBad. Personally I think a better way to have done him is make him permanent, not just weekly. Then have him sell every exotic in the game for 50-100 coins each, maybe a bit more, prices would have to be adjusted/figured out.

3 RespuestasNo. Xur exists for newer players who don't have huge stockpiles of exotics to choose from. His price range reflects what newer players can afford.

That price is way too high. I have never had more than 35-40 coins at any given time. I think a lot of players haven't been hoarding coins like some people have been

1 RespuestaWhat most of us addicts don't get, is that "normal" players barely get enough coins to buy one item each week. If Xûr's prices went up, it would be all fine for us who have tons of stockpiled coins, but it would ruin the game for the casuals. Even for us with 200+ coins, after a few good weeks, we'd be broke and crying about how everything is too expensive. Xûr is a public service for those who aren't running raids 6 times a week and cursing our 7th drop of some exotic we already had. He's there for those who can't or don't raid and have limited time and in game resources. That's not to say he's welfare, as we aren't getting our coins taxed and redistributed to the "poor" players. If Xûr does happen to have something that those of us who only need a handful of exotics to complete our collection want, then that's great. But I would prefer that he doesn't cater to us.

I like the idea. We should just get rid of RNG all together, make everything available but at a high price! This way, those who play the game often can work their way up to their desired rewards, and not lose confidence that they may never see a certain weapon drop for them. It gives the new people something to look forward to as well. And most importantly, it will get rid of all the pathetic self-proclaimed "elites" of Destiny since everything is available for everyone! You just have to [i]earn[/i] your way up to it! :) See what I did there? Unless you get paid real life money to play Destiny, you ain't no elite! Cheers!

3 RespuestasIf bungie added more exotics, this wouldn't be a bad idea. But the current lack of exotic weapons means if he sells 3 every week, the entire pool of exotics would be ran n through so quickly and most importantly more and more duplicats show up

3 RespuestasI think xur should scrap exotic guns altogether, and just sell one type of exotic weapon engram every week for a price of 23 strange coins. I think that would solve a lot of problems.

Xur is for new players and lower levels.. How the heck would they afford that!? No way. I have more than enough coins to buy everything I'd want, but this would destroy lower levels.. So, NO
