So many oppertunities! The Hive could actually be scary like they were meant to be. The Cabal could be much more violent with how they kill you. The Vex could be much darker. The Fallen could look more graphic (What else are Fallen good for?). The environments could be so much better in general. And the potential crucible effects are great (halo-style assassinations, etc). Post other ideas for things the T rating is holding back here. Your thoughts?
Edit: And a strip club in the tower (admittance is payed in strange coins of course)
Edit: Trending! Keep it up!

Cod is m and all who play it are 10 year olds?
-
They could have done so much more with Destiny but have pooed on what could have been a great story with characters that have depth I don't have to kill things to read a paragraph about instead we have a story with more holes in it than Swiss cheese. Bungie rushed the game while being partnered with Activision all for money it's a shame that money rules rather than quality...
-
A game where you do mass killing for unfound reasons being rated T!? And you want a higher rating?
-
Not necessary. Its fine where it is. Not sure why more blood would be needed.....or anything else that would increase the rating.
-
1 RespuestaAnd don't forget this.....
-
yes, just to keep kids away
-
Yes, it would be better in my personal opinion. If I were making it, I would make it so. But at last, I am not. So whatever I guess. Right? RIGHT?

Editado por nbah3: 2/26/2015 4:08:13 PMOy wouldn't change much. Remember ds2 was plenty gruesome with only a "T" it seems "m" is given out for language and sexual stuff
-
Shock value doesn't mean immersion. Go play GTA if thats what you want.
-
People still pay attention to what games are rated? Are you scrubs 12 or something?
-
YES BUMP NO MORE SQUEAKERS

10 RespuestasNo way. It's not necessary, nor would it make the game any better or worse. The game is already violent as it is. How would adding blood or gratuitous violence make it better? I think Bungie specifically made Destiny T so that they could reach more players like myself, who don't play M games. I think there are bigger problems with this game that can be fixed in the sequel than the rating, like the story and the gun balance. The T rating is becoming non-existent, but there's a reason it exists. It's meant for games that have violence and other things that are inappropriate for young kids, but its not so bad that you need to be 17 to play it. We should keep that rating alive. It's funny because I was gonna make a post thanking Bungie for making this game T, after hearing the news that the next Batman would be M. It shows that Bungie is putting gameplay over gore, and wants this game to be accessible to as many as possible.

2 RespuestasThis.. A little more suspense in a resident evil type way would be awesome. Monsters that actually startle you and look unbeatable. Nothing cool about running away from some shanks.
-
3 RespuestasTHE AMOUNT OF SQUEAKERS WOULD VANISH! No more bullshit about the scrub who got his characters deleted. I would actually read useful things in forums!

I would love to see this happen. Hell, half of the legendary/exotic guns and armor pieces have descriptions that hint at some gruesome history (Red Death anybody? We're supposed to destroy that thing if we come across it... HA WHATEVER YOLO SWAGANOMICS). And, maybe just maybe, the squeaker crowd might thin out a bit? It might not have a huge effect, but it could be something. Man I remember when Halo first came out, I felt like I had to make a damn case analysis to present to my parents to even try to buy it...
insert necessary, angry senior senior citzen comment here :D
This. When I heard Destiny was T I was really hard pressed to think of a good fps that had the same rating. I'm guessing Activision was losing some sales in COD because of concerned mothers and wanted Destiny to be the safe bet for those cases.
-
If it's M rates, more kids will be on it
-
1 RespuestaI wouldn't mind, but in all honesty, kids will somehow manage to get it anyway Just look at GTA, and more specifically, GTA Online; there seems to be more kids playing that than there are adults
-
Rated M because you can bust some sick ass moves

2 RespuestasEditado por Tstaunch99: 2/26/2015 9:52:45 AMIn Australia destiny is already rated M.

Editado por Erijian: 2/26/2015 9:47:14 AMI just wish the bodies of Guardians didn't vanish in the Crucible after they respawned. Also the lack of blood is still weird to me, since the Vex technically 'bleed' when you kill them while nothing else does. I don't want it to be excessively gory or anything like that, just some minor blood effects from shooting enemies that have no shielding.

Bungie cant it is part of their contract with Activision that all 3 destiny games need to be rated T
-
2 RespuestasAwoken Chicks nuff said.

3 RespuestasActivision won't let this happen. They're always going to cater to the casual audience.
