I had a perfectly acceptable thread get locked for being offensive. It emulated countless anti-christian threads to a T. Yet they are never locked.
Is this really what Bungie is now? Anti-christian and free speech we deem acceptable?
I most add I have no issue with these threads. I simply expect to receive equal treatment. Lock all religious threads or none. IT is that simple. The Mods cannot choose a specific side, that is ethically and morally wrong. As a Mod you should remain unbiased at all times when making moderation decisions.

Bungie.net has yet to restrict or remove your freedoms bound by the United States Constitution. Within the bounds of the internet, you are accessing international cyberspace. There are no constitutional bindings within the internet.

2 RespuestasReligion threads are stupid and get nothing done.

Mods act on either blatant insubordination or reports. If enough people report your thread, it will probably be taken down as it is deemed offensive by the community. Inb4TheCellarDoorhasanarmyofaltscontrollingthemoderation

You lost those rights when you joined this forum

Get over thinking you are needing equal treatment on a private forum. Fairness and freedom of speech do not apply here. Although I think the mods do a poor job of policing these forums, it is Bungies responsibility to deal with this madness. If you get locked, try a different wording or different tactic.

1 RespuestaThey all abuse their power to some extent. Every website is the same. Of course, every last one of them are Atheists, and secretly laugh at the anti-christian threads.

I agree. Y'all should be able to make points for your views just like myself or others are allowed to make points against them.

15 RespuestasOh here we go, the poor downtrodden christian... How about keep your religion in your pants and you wont get posts banned, ight?
-
I know. Instead of banning random floodians they should ban every desticle they see

1 RespuestaThat's pretty much how it works here Happened to me a few time, perfectly fine comments or threads(maybe a little offensive) get removed but all of the weird hardcore stuff still slips under the radar for some reason..

2 RespuestasIt's been said many times that the current moderation is intended to be more reactionary than proactive. Mods respond to reported threads or posts more than anything because of the shear amount of activity that flows through here on a daily basis. If your thread was locked, it was most likely as a result of multiple downvotes or reports more than a mod just choosing to lock the thing. So.. blame the members, bro. Not the mods.

There's definitely gaping inconsistencies in the ninja team, but this is the case for moderating teams in every forum.

It might not be so much a mod as different people reporting threads. Yes, there is a mod involved, but the people might ultimately hold the blame
