EDIT: BUNGIE NEEDS TO TAKE ACTION. I won't play this game if that's the company they are...its sickening.
I think people are blind to what Bungie has already done and need to realize what they have done is above what they need, or could, do. Their term clearly indicate you shouldn't share your account and if you do, there is NOTHING they can do. Now, let's get to what they have actually done that they didn't have to do. They publicly called the guy out in a weekly update, called him names and warned the community about him. AND, they posted a video of him doing what he did. So what you say? Every person who plays destiny, regardless of console, now knows who this guy is. There will be people who think its funny, you can't get away from that. The majority of people WILL agree that he is a douche. He will get booted from groups and will be ridiculed by the normal population in this game. Bungies hands are tied, and they know this. He didn't break any rules. What they did is put this out to the public and thrown him to the wolves. We are the wolves. It's up to the community to deal with this punk because legally Bungies got nothing.

 • my thoughts exactly. Bungie is not at fault here, they have done what they can. The exposure to this predator will be more than enough to take care of him. the eleven year old will learn a hard lesson.

 • Except we're all arguing about whose right and whose wrong. It's like the political races of republican vs democrat. Instead of focusing on the issue at hand, we're bashing each other for having different opinions. The kid is 11. We should do a survey and get some information on how kids around this age act. (I'm thinking 9-13. Two up, two down.) Each person is different, yes. However I'm sure it is safe to say there are 8 year olds who are smarter than this 11 year old. There are 16 year olds who still require a babysitter. When I was 11, I stayed home alone, helped around the house; you know all that responsible stuff. Lucky for me I had good parents. But we won't get into this. I've said my opinion, to which I was told to grow some compassion. I laughed, because I work in EMS. The kid is a kid yes, but he's not a baby. The lesson here? Start focusing on teaching the young ones not to share information/invite "strangers" to something like shareplay. For the troll? Well, I can't think of anything asides from educating and preparing yourself to avoid this situation. If you can forsee a bad situation and can avoid it or take the necessary steps to prevent it, then eventually the problem will stop all together. Everyone is responsible for themselves, and it seems like this very concept is not being taught anymore.
