Alright, so, this all started about Tuesday when my usual raid party wasn't on, so I went on to find another raiding party. Luckily, I was able to find one at the tower that had a full fireteam of Gjallarhorns trying to do the crota raid, and since I was the only 32 at the tower they invited me. Just as I get in, I could hear "But he doesn't have a Gjallarhorn" and "He has the hunger of crota, though, we can carry him." So let me get this straight, your basically thinking about kicking me because I have no Gjallarhorn? That's insane. Eventually, we just left after they realized no other 32 was going into the tower server and they didn't want to wait any longer, so the leader started up crota hard. They kicked me before we beat it (thank god). What Happened: [spoiler] First try: The walls go down, and our sword bearer immediately ran past all the enemies and went to where the chalice would have been in easy mode, and though the glass I saw he got instantly screwed by crota and the boomers. Oversould summoned, we all decided to wipe. Second try: Some Idiot forgot there was one knight still on the right side and when no one was looking it killed 4 people, I was left alive and they yelled at me "WIPE!!!!!!!" Third try: We get outside and someone shoots two gjallarhorn bullets at the swordbearer, almost dying from the boomers, the sword bearer dies, our swordbearer runs and takes the sword and as he takes t he sword he yells nuke, we all shoot 1-2 rockets, crota is down, but guess what, our sword bearer hasn't even jumped up yet, as soon as he finally get up, crota get up aswell and one shots him. Tries 4-7: No one shot their rockets, and as I turned on my mike at the seventh all I hear is "If that **** MarkedElite(me) had a Gjallarhorn this wouldn't be happening!", basically I ignored the comment and asked "Do you guys have (heavy) synths?". No reply, just arguing amoung each other, after asking 2-3 more times I finally get an answer that none of them have any and I said "Well, for people with Gjallarhorn you all really SUCK! You're not even prepared, not even your Gjallarhorn can help that!" They kick me. [/spoiler] Basically I found another raid group of 5 of us total, all with hunger of crota's and one with a veledictorian,[b] we beat it first try.[/b] Just because you have Gjallarhorn doesn't mean you're hardcore MLG pro. [b]Xur will sell Gjallarhorn:[/b] He sold the Ice Breaker two times, what makes you think he won't sell it again, or the Gjallarhorn, too? Basically what I see is why wouldn't you want him to sell it, because you won't be as "special" anymore? To be honest your not special from getting the Gjallarhorn from a crucible match that you got a 0.0002 K/D like Paul the Thrall, or getting it from chance at a chest. If Xur sold it, it would make raids or strikes easier, and make the good players even better. Exotics were not meant to be "Special" in the first place. Bungie even stated that everyone will get every exotic eventually.
