I got the Arachnid today!
Most people heard of it, no ones seen it. No doubt this is the rarest piece of exotic armor along with Heart of Praxic for the Warlock.
Theres just one hook - This Hunter helmet blows. "Zoom in with Golden Gun". Come on...Yet I'm very happy to be an owner of this badass looking helmet because of it's rarity. I know have all Hunter exotic armor.
Is anyone rocking the Arachnid? Let me know your opinions guardians!
Edit: You misunderstood me. I'm not liking this helmet cause of the perks, like I said, they blow. It looks awesome and Xur is yet to sell it. Arachnid owners should be proud.
Edit: Everyone knows this helmet sucks. I just love to read all the haters who doesn't have the collection of helmets. Keep the hatin coming 31 losers!

Got it from a legendary engram from rock strikes, I prefer my mask of the third man since I use blade dancer more, it is fun to have the blade dancer super active for ages if you have the right perks and the healing perk will come in handy during CE

I got it from an engram through xur first weekend and sharded it after a day. Pretty useless like you said.

I had it and deleted it, did not like the zoom it put on golden gun because it made close quarters hard and was useless at a range

I have heart of praxic fire. Never knew it was rare. My lock is 32 already and I prefer my Obsidian Mind.

I've had two of them drop for me in the first two weeks of the dlc... I had no idea it was rare. I still think Praxic is the rarest. Been playing heavily since the original release. Never had it.

I have Arachnid and Symbiote but would love to have Mask of the Third Man or Knucklehead as well. I only use arachnid to show off since it looks pretty neat.

It's rare cause no one equips it cause of how shitty it is. I have it and after i upgraded to it to the zoom perk and tested it out. I switched it for another helmet and have yet to equip it since. That, was a while back.

I don't think it's rare it's just rarely used that's all because yea it sucks as everyone knows just as useless as radiant dance machines actually I think they're more useful

2 RespuestasI have all 4 and what people dont realize is that in some situation the Arachnid will do more damage than the Achlyophage The way the Arachnid works is that when you zoom in, you get infinite range and much greater accuracy This is not just from the zoom, but it actually widens the hit box and keeps its damage at the max instead of dropping off at range So, in long range encounters, 3 shot from an arachnid user could do way more damage than 4 shots from achlyophage because of damage drop off

Got it from Xurgram. It needs a buff. Probably zoom + a golden gun perk so you can select something else. (zoom + over the horizon, or zoom + combustion...)

I have and I like it because it turns Golden gun into a sniper basically and as a person who loves sniping it works really well for me.
