Bungie, you guys teased us with this game for years - talked off and on after Halo 3 about how you guys had something "big" in the works.
You dangled that proverbial carrot by refusing to call the game an MMO, but insisting it had elements of an ever-changing environment, an in-depth loot system, and activities that would keep us busy over the projected 10 year life cycle (that you insisted it had).
I have played this game since day one. I have dumped over 500 hours into this thing, and honestly, I don't think I can boot up the game again. The absolute monotony of this game has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I seriously doubt there is anything you can do at this point to remedy such a problem. I had hoped your "expansion" (if you can call unlocking core title sections you guys gutted prior to release an "expansion") would pump some new, actual life into these snoorefest, but instead all you have done is perpetuate the same paradigm of grind, grind, and more grind.
Let's take a look at what your 8 years gave us:
1.) 6 strike missions (7 on the PSN) that we get to play over and over...and over...and over again every week.
2.) Two raids that you insist we replay every week based on your intended style (i.e. no cheesing guys!).
3.) A loot system that is based around luck - no skill involved whatsoever.
4.) A narrow range of useable weapons, with a broad range of useless crap.
5.) Several different economic systems that you just mashed together and hoped would make some kind of sense.
6.) A Character Creation function that is absolutely useless (oh boy! I can see my face in the tower! <--- SARCASM!)
7.) An armor paradigm that eventually makes everyone like the ninja sprite from Mortal Kombat (Sub Zero is just Scorpion with a blue tint people!)
8.) Ships that serve as loading screens only
9.) Bounties, dailies and weekly events that we have all done ad nauseam
10.) Still waiting on that actual story...
I remember, back in 2001, when I got my copy of Halo: CE. I had never been a big fan of FPS's, but that game changed my opinion overnight - I played the crap out of Halo, and Halo 2 was my first day 1 purchase ever (I have been gaming for awhile). Halo 3 was my first pre-order ever. Your company set the pace for my gaming decisions (specifically consoles) for over a decade, and when I first heard about Destiny, all I could think was "They are going to make lightning strike twice!"
I can not believe I was so very, very wrong.
I got my Flawless Raider, despite your refusal to address Host Connection Issues with the VoG. And now you guys fix a Host Connection Issue in the CE? Nice job, wankers.
Oh, whats that? You have the House of Wolves slated for March? Everyone will be able to jump to level 33 overnight? New raid for 32's only? New exotics and legendaries you guys will nerf after a few weeks when too many PvP crybabies come running to you to mend all their butthurt in the crucible?
Yeah, no thanks.
As for that 10 year life cycle, I already see you guys discussing Destiny 2. You haven't even finished handing out the bits of this game that you cut up prior to release, and you already want to start promoting a second one? So much for that 10 years, you corporate pigs.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am not opening my wallet for Bungie again - should have known better when I saw that name "Activision" on this title, but I gave you guys the benefit of the doubt. Then you had to crap all over us. Good job.

5 RespuestasGood game. Put a lot of hours into it and got a ridiculous amount of entertainment out of it. Sure, it needs fixes here and there. But no game is perfect at launch.
